Shenton College is proud to be public. We chose this school because it celebrates diversity and inclusion. Different material resources come with private school money. For example, there isn't a swimming pool, a fantastic plane in an oversized lobby or the sameness culture that comes with private school. The college has many dedicated staff members, a remarkable principal and a set of values that sets students up to achieve academically, emotionally and socially. No school is perfect, and all schools don't fit all students. It is a choice that should be made well. Shenton has excellent communication channels, which has made our lives easier than primary school because the information we need is on their Compass app, and staff are always attentive to emails and phone calls.

I am constantly told that shenton is a ‘good’ school. It seems each persons interpretation of ‘good’ is different.
If a student is in the gifted and talented stream from what I gather it is ‘good’ . Unfortunately if a child is in the regular stream I don’t think it’s a very healthy environment. Compared to privates schools It doesn’t compare with the resources available to students.

My daughter attends this college and I am so impressed with the school. It is a school that supports and nurtures children and achieves outstanding results both academic and personal development
