Mr Barrett ruined my school

I don't know what the previous 2 parents are talking about.
My child receives great support with the new structure and I can always speak with my child's teacher.
I have found that those who are unhappy are the parents of the students that are finally being pulled into line.

Down hill with the new principal. Once a lovely school. Now boot camp.

Teacher/parent communication is difficult.
No art classes.
No advanced programs.
No programs for struggling kids.
No book week.
No training for upcoming sports events.

Generally very happy with this school. One does need to be very communicative to ensure the needs of your child is/are met...but in my experience this is the same in many schools.

Discipline varies according to teacher as with all schools. Issues in the past may have been dealt with rather nonchalantly with one teacher yet [this year] it has been nipped in the bud within weeks and the change has been fantastic.

Educationally the Reading Recovery program is wonderful provided parents again communicate and work 'with' teachers.

Had to withdraw child from school as a discipline problem with another child went unattended. Other child was physicaly violent and there was nothing constructive done to protect my child.
