I like the school its nice and fun the only problem is getting bullied but the school handles it and the is the school mentor that helps

This school is like a popularity contest. You are only cared about if your sport or musically talented. It's always the same people who get everything. Presentation night is an absolute joke. Do you know who hard it is for half the school to sit there and watch people get those awards that don't deserve them? Half the students that receive those awards are bullies, the only reason why they get them is cuz they are recognised by the school for being sporty. There is more to life than sport and music but thats all this school cares about. Bullies get away with just about everything, while people who are the ones to get bullied are left to feel like they are being ganged up on. I have a lot of faults i could complain about from this school. They dont listen to feedback. English teachers cant spell primary school words, asking students for help. They offer next to no subjects in year 11 and 12, the teachers tell studnets to get a tutor when they dont get something. No one at the school likes it, only the head prefects like the school.

Hey thats private photos up the top! how did this site get them? that is so wrong. Stealing photos from the school site for your site.... ??? I wonder how many parents gave this site permission to use them? we only give permission to the school.

Temple is an amazing school. A lot of the teachers are more than just teachers but qualified in their subject areas. These teachers go above and beyond for all their students and give 100%. 60-70% in a private school is possibly a 80-90% in a public school. Any student is lucky to be at Temple. They will get a great education and all the support they need.

Northern Suburbs sister, you pay for what you get.
The Bigger a school gets, the less your child is looked after. But for the price one does expect better than 60-70% Flip side is,The child has to want to learn.
Did you get involved in your school to help improve it?
Yes teachers dont know how to teach to the quality that we as parents were taught. We even had slack teachers that straight out of uni couldnt do it. And every year the teaching quality will be more eroded, The old school teachers are on their retirement packages now. But for this area of schools available. There is not much choice. The public system has failed many familys that i know in this area. I think we are lucky to get a choice.

I never wanted to send my kids here in the first place. My kids wanted to go as their friends were going to be there. I swear if I had my time over, I would not have sent them there. The teaching system is beyond ridiculous. Most of the teachers there do not know how to teach and do not seem qualified. I am sick of my kids coming home, learning nothing and me having to teach them myself pretty much. My kids are never getting help. My daughter is failing a subject but her teacher wont help her instead is telling her to get her friends to explain it to her. When I look at my kids reports, the class average is really low like in the 60-70% range. Sometimes lower. Me and other parents are wondering why the class average is so low. Like I said, the teachers don't teach. They say they have a good bullying policy by my gosh it is one of the worst I have seen. Nothing gets done to stop bullying. The bullies never get punished, they get away with it. That school has absolutely no idea what they are doing and just like nearly every other unhappy parent, I am pulling my kids out. Its really unacceptable what goes on at that school. They need to pull their heads in. Its just like a public school. I give it a rating of 0.
