A great local public school. Dedicated, committed staff who work hard to provide a positive educational experience for all students.

the students. i cant wrap my mind around them, they are total assholes who do absolutely anything to ruin your mental health. They act like kings and queens of the world while they are some of the most selfish and assholy idiots of this world. they are some of the most andrew tate branded homophobes and transphobic idiots or gossip girls you’ll ever meet. god i hate this place. oh well, better start studying for selective to get away from these people.

The teachers at this school can and will come across as more than accommodating but then ignore important issues like bullying and in my experience will defend the uncontrolled bully to the point where I had to make sure I was there after school for my daughter to keep her safe from threats of being bashed by (boys) who were there to follow through the threats and then came to start a fight with myself and my 2 daughters but fortunately one teacher was there to help the situation and the following day the actual new principal witnessed it again but this time I stayed in my car across the road in the service station and a group of boys one in particular started yelling out and wanting to start a fight I drove off and rang the principal and he told me I should in future park across the main road and let my threaten daughter walk to me (at risk of being beaten by boys) because the principal told me that the service station is a very public place and the schools reputation is at stake ! Seriously this violent child i basically being protected and you’d think i should’ve known better considering my elder daughter completed yr11 &12 at whyndam after being at Quakers high and also had to deal with teachers who cared more about what colour socks she wore to school than the damn bullying nothing has changed

This school is very bad. Children are bad behaved, smoking in toilets and when you meet them on the train station, all the F... words in their mouth. I wonder what type of education they are having. God save our children

Quakers Hill High school is just doing the minimum of teaching standards. Some the students are really trying to do well but are impacted by the behaviour of difficult student's doing sill thing's in the classroom. I would be very concerned to send my very quiet shy child to this high school as its some what like a juvenile detention centre at times. There is a new principle on board so let's hope he can get this school back under control. We are taking our child out of this school as the amount of teacher's coming and going from subjects just seem's like they are ticking boxes. Us as a family are worried that the standards have slipped so low that the children's future will suffer. Please look around to other local schools as unless this school has a massive turn around then your child will suffer. The amount of police presence, non complaint student's hanging out at the local 7/11 across the road just makes the community shutter. You have some good teacher's but also some very toxic teacher's who are rude to the children and even rude to parents. I myself was spoken to by the deputy like a naughty student. The students are not aloud to use the hall in the pouring rain nore the classrooms during lunch or recess they are made to stand with there bag's on there back as if they put it down it gets so wet and they have there laptop inside which can be worth alot of money. There is very minimal areas to sit in the wet weather and this needs alot of looking into for on going repairs. Parent's need to continue on making complaints to get this new principle on board with changes that need to happen before something drastic happens to a student or staff member.

Quakers Hill High is trading off its previous reputation as a good school with lots of electives and an outstanding performing arts program.
What the school has become is one with almost no electives, and no performing arts program. The teachers are forced to rotate around between subjects so students end up with teachers with no passion for their subject. The school canteen runs out of food on a daily basis, and the lunch period is too short, leaving many students unable to eat lunch. The curriculum and assignments are pulled in their entirety from websites without being checked, which results in confusing University level work or even work from completely different subjects being issued. When the students bring this error to the attention of the staff, the work is not changed and the students are forced to study curriculum that has nothing to do with their elective or is years above their understanding. For the most part they are instructed to write notes for every class with very little practical aspects and the majority of the teachers have very thick accents and the students have great difficulty understanding them (at which point they are often yelled at as if they are intentionally misunderstanding them). There are no excursions, fun activities or mufti days so there is nothing to look forward to. In short, Quakers Hill High School is doing the absolute bare minimum for their students and every year their standards get lower. To add insult to injury, the school has somehow been allowed to now teach years 11 and 12. If they had any care for their students, they would allow them to move on to Wyndham College where they have a chance of recovering (both emotionally and academically) from their time at Quakers Hill High, but the staff constantly run down Wyndham and try to make their students fearful of leaving so that they don’t lose their funding. This is a school where your child will survive, but not thrive.

The Deputy Principal has made a full time job out of removing negative reviews from the internet. The fact that there were so many negative things for people to say - and the fact that the school doesn’t want anyone to find those things out - says everything that you need to know about this school.
I'm , rate this school
