What kind of school lets someone get bullied and puts the bully on a 5 minute time-out!?

The teachers here will make extra effort toward the students who are switched on and actually want to learn. There are also many extra curricular activites, during my time at school i participated in various local school sports comps, of which many had relatively great seasons. I am grateful for the contribution this school has made toward becoming the man i am today.

The review on this website, besides being mostly falsified conjecture, are deeply troubling to me as a current student at the college. I think the grammatical errors in most of the reviews cast doubt on the validity of their somewhat outlandish claims. And the negative reviews that seem somewhat believable are more than likely written by parents whose kids are trouble makers in classrooms and don't put serious effort into achieving at school.
The school is made up of passionate, competent staff, who despite some of the reviews saying otherwise on this forum, will go absolutely above and beyond to ensure that each student's needs are met and mostly engaging learning is facilitated for everyone. As someone who hasn't always achieved academically or been bothered to give school a serious crack, the staff at the school always tried their hardest to push me to give it a go which is the only reason I'm currently succeeding with such ease academically.
Overall, St. Paul's is not what its made out to be by the fabricated reviews left on the website. It is most definitely a place that encourages and facilitates the best efforts of all its students and most definitely a place to consider sending your son.

We have lived in a few different countries in the last 20 years and have been exposed to a few different schools. St Paul's has been absolutely wonderful and our son loves his teachers and his school. He has had some learning challenges and the school has been all over this and I must say it is quite impressive to see his improvement. The school also develops the whole boy and is not just a pure vanilla academic focus.
We like the culture of the school and to be honest, cannot at all relate to some good of the bad comments here. Judge for yourself by visiting the school if you are considering this as an option for your son.

I don't even know why the people above are talking bad about the school. The school, in reality, is an excellent school. Now, what makes an excellent school? The dedication of the teachers, especially the head teachers of each subject, including the infamous Mr Peter Robertson, head teacher for English. Mr Evan Woolam, head teacher of HSIE, just to name a few.
The teachers are quite strict, but this is good as parents want the very best for their children, so if you want your son to be disciplined, then St Pauls College is the school for you.
The school offers a wide range of extra curricular such as an Environmental Club, a Debating Club, a Public Speaking Club, a Book Club, a Maths Club, a Chess club, these are just some of the many clubs available to your sons at this school.
The teachers want the very best for their students, which is what you are paying for when you pay for your sons to go here. They are there when the students need them, and even out of classes, they will find time to answer your son's questions.
I was walking across to the Administration today and I noticed the nobleness and the kindness that the students of the school were displaying. Some of the students were talking to teachers, which is good as your son can gain a relationship with the teachers.
The highest ATAR from the Class of 2020 was 99.2 by Jayden Rothwell.
Definitely highly recommend to your sons.

The term “gay should be banned in this school. The students disgust me, who goes around starting fights, making people look bad and this “eshay” thing has to stop immediately. My son can’t find any loyal or kind friends due to the amount of toxic students. The amount of swearing and bullying and demerits isn’t helping, shouldn’t there be detentions instead of gathering the whole school making them look bad.

I was not impressed with the Open Day. Very disorganised teachers didn't seem very motivated and came across as not wanting to be there. Judging by today's events its not a school I would want my son attending.

I found the teachers unhelpful and not interested in my son whom struggled academically. I wouldn't recommend st pauls college to any parent. Teachers are not interested and turn a blind eye to serious bullying and behaviours of there students. The school is also money hungry and this is there main focus, as a single parent I received fee reduction & in return my son was unable to participate in any paid school sports. The staff need a complete overhaul. Do not send your son here. I have met so many parents who have pulled there sons out of this school due to its lack of care to the student and greed for money. Isn't it meant to be about faith and the best interest of the student!!!

The teachers are respectful and students are taught to be better human beings and not simply academic robots. Well done and congratulations to all involved.
