School leadership and teacher quality is not consistent, with staff retention becoming increasingly poor. I agree with a previous reviewer who stated that the school is fine for an average student, but look out if your child is above average! They are pretty much left to their own devices and any extension is left to the parents. Socially, my children were happy, but their grades jumped around from teacher to teacher and some of the staff were just plain rude. It's in a lovely area and I'd hoped for more, but in the end Putney was a disappointment on many levels. It could be so much more.

Best school I've ever attended to. The students are polite and nice. The teachers are one of the kindest people there.

The school is inconsistent in teacher quality. Some strong teachers and some who should just move on. Average kids do okay here but if your child has a learning need or are above average intelligence, their learning needs are not attended to. You have to constantly harass teachers to ensure that your child gets some attention. The P&C crowd are very political and clicky. I regret sending my children to this school.
