We’ve been at the school for many years now and our children have had very positive experiences and dedicated teachers. Our children have made many friends and the smaller classes are a huge benefit for their learning. It has a supportive and friendly parent community who organise great events and are very welcoming. No school is perfect and we have enjoyed being part of the parkhill community. |

This was once a really friendly and happy school in which students and families were valued members of the community. Sadly in 2017 the leadership changed. In that year alone several very experienced and well loved teachers left, Science, Art and Stem programs were cut, behavioural problems became commonplace. Fast forward a few years and more teachers have left, bullying is rife, the house system has been disbanded, student awards reduced to less than one third of what they were. The teachers and families that contributed so much have gone elsewhere. A school in serious decline. |

I have spent a few years at Park hill now and have seen it change. I feel though a nice school with some very lovely teachers, the leadership is more about putting on a performance and making things "appear" beautiful rather than focusing on education and care. The grounds are very understaffed during lunches and often I've had reports of upsets when a teacher on duty could not be found. Also I believe the "quiet corner" has been used as a too hard basket in the classroom rather than bringing in new strategies. I have heard reports of slack bullying procedures from parents who have removed their children from the school due to this. That being said, the teachers are lovely and the children are happy enough. No school is perfect and though this one could do with some truths being told it is decent enough and perhaps just need to shifts its priorities a little. |

Good teachers for most levels, nice facilities. Though the gossiping/parents leave a lot to be desired. |
