Horrible. Meat was stale and dry and the servers were rude.

ok, ill be honest, my time wasnt that bad, but there was a few teachers, and despite everybody complaining and asking for her to leave, nothing was done.

This was a horrible school. I wish this school close down or get a new principal. The management is disgraceful.

as a parent I have found bullying prevalent at at Glenroy west also I have found no medical training to speak of also there are the the punishments by some teachers show extreme favoritism to some students this does not show any form of school uniformity which is extremely unfair for a majority of the students

Glenroy West Primary is the best. My sister and I think our school is great because the teachers listen to us and help us learn. We have made many friends at GW.

Pam
I believe its time for you to retire. The school had a great reputation until you came along.
Treat your staff with respect and be more attentive to students and parents. Use self-discipline to improve your character - and your results! Or walk away with integrity.

It is disappointing to see ,once again ,the loss of excellent ,experienced teachers . A continuum of mismanagement shows it's ugly head .This is supported by student and staff survey results in the low percentile ,detailed in the school's 2013-2017 AIP document. "Bullying "in this school is not only prevalent to the Playground ,the parent community and staff are not excluded from it either by management.

I agree! Glenroy West Primary School is a fantastic school that caters for the diverse and cultural needs of all children. Pam is a principal who ensures the learning needs of all students are catered for and that they're her number one priority, ensuring that they're provided with the best education and teachers, to achieve their full potential.

Glenroy West is a fabulous school with a very caring staff and a wonderful principal. My children are making fantastic progress in their learning and even more importantly, have made wonderful friends in a caring and nurturing environment. Glenroy West is everything a great school should be. Credit for this goes largely to our principal for creating a positive school that always puts the kids first. Thank you!!

What was once an academic pleasure and unique public school, is now a very poorly managed school and on an academic decline. To cater to our kids academic needs and full potential, we decided to withdraw them from our local school, when our children were independantly tested, we discovered that they were a year behind.
Our youngest son is a very bright boy but could not read or write, most disheartening is that the school Principal, Pamela Streete still put our son up a grade even though he did not have a basic solid foundation to equip him for learning and excel along side his peers.
There were also incidences of bullying towards our son, which were not dealt with well, until we intervened.
This school no longer has anything great to offer our community kids, except for over priced obsolete technology, low grade Maths, English and Science programs, nothing challenging but a big bill and the end.

Would not be upset if the current principal left

It's true we have lost some great programs and staff, but we still have the library thanks to a parent volunteer who helps the kids borrow books each week. There is still a great community here, and it is still an OK school. My child is enjoying having Rosemary Thompson as a teacher.

This was once a great little primary school. The previous principals' built up the programs and the staff were happy.
Happy to say staff are mostly great and still doing good things. But shame the current principal is all about creating problems. Since she started her mismanagement has resulted in loss of excellent teaching staff, a long term office staff member who knew all the children's and parent's names, a fantastic aftercare staff member, loss of the japanese language program and loss of the library program. Surprised the Education Department allows her to continue being a Principal after what she did to Calder Rise PS, Jacana PS and the one in Dallas.
When is she going to retire??? Can't wait until we get some good people on school council too - people who actually have the guts to stand up and question the bad decisions being made. Oh yeah there were some great parent reps but she drove them off! Getting a bit sick of it and thinking of withdrawing my child next year if that woman is still there.
