Unless you are prepared to make financial contributions to the school do not bother sending your child for any equitable education. Bullying is rife, struggling students are an annoyance to teachers and popular kids and parents rule. Kids walk around in fear of others during recess and lunch while being abruptly told to “build resilience” and “get over it” by teachers. Glad my child is out of there after 7 years of going through hell but no option to move.

In my opinion this school is ok it has teachers some strict and some kind playgrounds and a cafetiria but sometimes there can be a bit of issues like broken bones blood and ect.
but i think they should maybe improve on investigating a bit more in bullying and teasing but if had to rate it i would rate it a 6/10

This school has gave me fears and anger issues and they have the nerves to say they take care of the students even though they suspended me for standing up to a bully how dose that make sence?!? plus a lot of the kids are rude and make fun of eachother and lots of kids have broke bones and hurt thereselves but overall i rate this school a 2/10

This school is terrible. The teachers bully the kids and speak behind the parents back. The do as they please and don't investigate incidents but base them on their biased opinions. Had I known how terrible it was I wouldn't have enrolled my children.

As a student at Keilor Primary School I would like to say this. Keilor primary school is an amazing school. I have been at Keilor since prep an never had a problem. The teachers and students are very nice and if not are taught well. Overall I give this school a 9/10

Prep teacher thought that my son had something wrong with him and told me that number of times. We transferred my son to Taylor’s Hill PS and he will be in grade 3 in 2020. He has excelled in both numeracy and literacy skills and there is nothing wrong with him whatsoever. Teachers at KPS are very negative and don’t know how to talk to parents professionally.

I have been very disappointed with this school since prep. Bullying of my son has never been taken seriously even after letters sent to the principal which were never even acknowledged. We even relocated to Keilor to attend this school as prior to the current principal being made permanent, had a great reputation. It appears that the duty of care of our children is no longer as important as whether they complete their homework and fill in their reading diaries each night. I am now looking to relocate my son to a different school.

My son is in prep and he wonders why her teacher never smiles and yells all the time. I can easily guess that his teacher is just there for the pay check. What happened to caring about students wellbeing. AITS has to make more checks on this schools’ teachers, especially the prep teachers. My son was discouraged many times, as his teacher didn’t even care about the work he did. We don’t want careless teachers. If they are in this profession, they must practice it properly. I will get in touch with AITS . I can’t just take my son to a different school due to zone restrictions.

Terrible.Poor class management. Preps separated in groups . The more archiving kids are looked after the teacher and the less promising are pass on parent helpers where some have the guts to put the kids down if they can’t follow thru with work. Prep Teacher also like to eat their students snacks during events they create for the kids and then they get reception to call you rudley to advise you that your child was send to school without food and demand to bring your child the food that had already been put in the lunch bag in the first place.

Supposingly the school provided buddy program for preps that the teachers just had it planned on paper, but failed to implement it. Students had no support to build friendship within peers. Lots of bullying cases and poor classroom management. We are as parents very dissapointed in this school.

The school provides nice facilities and very inviting staff. Except for one teacher who shall remain unnamed. Overall, 7/10

The school is very warming and welcoming but some other students, especially in grade 5/6 2014 are not very wise and are disrupting other students all day long. There is very, very little bullying and the school is excellent at sport. The school recently had a modern Prep, 1 and 2 building built which cost over 3 million dollars and includes laptops for the students, modern furniture and plenty of room for students. Unfortunately Keilor Primary has had an overwhelming amount of students in the past years and classrooms (cheap portables) have been made because they cant fit all the students into the new building that they just built. Keilor Primary is a great school and i would recommend it, if i had to score it i would give it a 7/10
I'm , rate this school
