for past 20 years this school has female principals. Whoever wrote these comments has no true knowledge about this school

The academic standards are low. Children are not really encouraged to achieve. Sport is given low priority. Most lessons are photocopied worksheets from textbooks, with little to no creative input from teachers.
Parent enquiries are not handled well by the principal. His manner can be rude. There is very little outside scrutiny by the Catholic Education Office.

This school has very low social standards where bright children are not made to feel welcome. The academic work mostly consists of photocopied worksheets from textbooks. If the children are quiet and colouring in, even at higher levels, then this seems to be regarded highly. The lessons are boring and repetitive. The school makes no real effort to encourage reading and we saw many children fall behind.
The principal seems friendly and helpful at first but then his true nature emerges - he is aggressive, angry, demeaning to women and many parents find his insulting comments outrageous. He has been known to respond to parents by saying "Maybe the problem is you" or "I have had to speak to you about your behaviour before". He also would make comments on my clothing which were inappropriate and I think designed to demean me. He went through a stage where he would phone me during the day, not get to the point , and make a strange clicking noise with his tongue into the phone. Any complaints to the Catholic Education Office about his behaviour brought a response of 'We are all related' meaning he is a cousin, husband or whatever to people in the small catholic community and therefore his behaviour will not be addressed.
The parent community is one of a low socio-economic and educational standard and there are problems stemming from this.
I'm , rate this school
