School Reviews

I've posted this on Google reviews but it got shadow banned:
Cancerous school, a very toxic environment plagued with Narcissistic abusers that sound like they have unresolved PTSD from a war-torn country or problems with their family brought into this school.
I graduated from here since 2011. I've decided to post this review because it's getting difficult controlling these traumatic memories of teachers screaming at the top of their lungs. I'm hoping a parent who reads this has the awareness and heart to save their children from this horrible school. My parents could not care less what school they chuck me at because I have a narcissistic abusive father with PTSD from the war in Iraq and a co-dependant enabler mother with no education was heavily reliant both financially and emotionally on my father.
This, combined with the unnecessary stress from the fraudulent HSC education system including IB, both of which are not designed to help students discover who they are, what their skills and talents are and how they can use this to contribute to their community. Just unnecessary amount of academic knowledge most of which will be forgotten in the future. On top of that, the teachers have no passion in what they're teaching and the poorest communication skills. The school likes to appeal to the teacher's "knowledge" but it's completely useless if you can't engage the students with that knowledge.
I remember the toxic shouting from Mr Khater, the chemistry teacher and his toxic lab assistant Mohammed Tabibar Rahman.
I remember I was confused at instructions given during biology work in the lab. I was about to begin preparing equipment using one of the benches and all I hear from Mr Tabib is "DID HE TELL YOU TO USE THAT BENCH?!?!?" "DO YOU UNDERSTAND ENGLISH!?!?" "DO YOU UNDERSTAND ENGLISH!?!?" I was about to scream and swear at him for his toxic negativity, berating and shouting but I remained calm and told him "I will not speak with you" in an assertive tone, sat down, breathed slowly and remained calm.
I discovered from the news (2014) that Tabib was banned from making legal cases all because he failed an English exam. Goes to show you the miserable and pathetic cases hired in AIA Strathfield projecting their insecurities onto students. They probably all have unresolved trauma or adverse experiences and shouting is their way of coping.
I've got complex PTSD from the toxic shouting of Maffaz Al Safi and Monah Al-Fetah. These people are not qualified leaders. They cannot handle stress very well so they shout like maniacs from a mental asylum. Their shouting can be heard from across the hallway and can be a major disruption to learning. I remember Monah was playing some kind of golden child/burden child treatment between students who chose HSC and IB. Those who chose IB were the golden child and those who chose HSC were the burden child and often both students fight each other based on the unfair treatment one was getting. This is a form of narcissistic abuse that politicians use to distract you from their core problems.
Beware, this school has toxic head master and head mistress personalities infiltrating into authority positions so they can emotionally abuse vulnerable children.
If you are a parent and genuinely care for the future of your children, please do not take your children into a private religious school. There is a high chance of abusive egomaniacs with little to no empathy lurking in this environment. The worst teachers are the bystanders and enablers allowing this generational trauma and abuse to happen especially coverup with false and vague 5 star ratings.
I've had to cut my ties from my parents due to the severe level of abuse, neglect, and unresolved PTSD that my parents couldn't care less of. Just remember when you get older, children do not have to look after abusers. They can leave you in retirement homes and you'll be left to look after yourself. Housing and feeding children like pets along with paying for their education is not "raising". Those are basic responsibilities. If you cannot provide genuine love and care, do not expect any in return.

This school is the worst school EVER!! I went here for 7 years and I cannot stress enough how bad it is! The teachers and principles are like demons sent straight from hell! Don’t put your children in here. They will be depressed an on top of everything they charge like a million dollars for one kid and don’t even teach anything and the school is falling apart!!!!!!

I like the idea of mirrors i wanna see myself while doing the exam
By Student - 11 Aug 2021, Rate: bad
Context: Its lockdown meaning Year 12 students are doing online trials with little to no communication with teachers on what will be happening and NO communication with the principal at all.
So as we approach trials the students had multiple questions we needed clarification on and wanted to voice our concerns. After repeatedly being dismissed and our arguments tossed to the side the teachers would NOT less us raise our issues about trials with them or the principal. Year 12 trials is one of the most important exams for year 12 students which goes to our final grade and yet the teacher and principal did not let us raise our issues. After being silenced on zoom calls on many occasions the grade decided to create a google survey where we collectively raised our concerns so our "voices" can finally heard. After the teacher telling the students they will finally be getting a zoom meeting with the principal the principal cancels it the next day WITHOUT telling us why nor were ANY OF OUR QUESTIONS ANSWERED. When our only form of communication is zoom, why would you not let your students have a meeting with you?. We are still waiting for our questions on how all our trial subjects will be conducted and only a few days are left and the school keeps delaying their response. No parent should send their kid to a school were their voices will never be heard, where they aren't allowed to talk to the principal on an issue, as well as any comments sent to teachers being deleted.. STOP TRYING TO SILENCE US. They have also imposed this ridiculous idea of having a mirror behind us during our exams and if we don't have one we are forced to come to school (where covid cases have reached 365). IF we don't come to school the students are constantly threatened by having their trials being replaced with their half yearly marks. Which is a test that doesn't go towards your ATAR, therefore most students didn't take it seriously. Yet we are constantly threatened with it JUST BECAUSE WE DON'T GET A MIRROR IN A 3 DAY NOTICE (IN LOCKDOWN). Btw what parent will go out in lockdown and purchase a mirror (which is not an essential item btw)?
Therefore, if students have any concerns or questions the principal will NOT respond to you even if you are a year 12 student who doesn't know wats going on w their trials. Yet we are called "negative" students every time we raise an issue.

AIA KELLYVILLE CAMPUS. The highlighter oreo looking, lemon cheesecake has the audactity to keeep asking me when my white pass is going to end. Like how tf should ik. Anyways i hate all the teachers here. I have learnt nothing especially from design tech and art. like how is making a bag for 2 terms going to help me in life. Chile- pls. and can someone pls tell me why the vampire dracula looking math teacher is so smiley. Why does the coordinator always take people jewelery like ik your broke but this is a leap. and how does a tiny bit of mascara effect the school, like bro. Also they act like they havent hesard a swear word a day in their life. If i say tf they will literally suspend me. Who in their right mind would put their child in this school for soooo long and not realise how messed up the teachers are. Like most of them scare ad bore us to death and the others just dont teach. Like i have been here 5 years and i haavent learnt anything. I got 2 demerits over not doing my homework. wtf is that. I went to public for one year and i learnt more. Collectively students like to remind teachers how much we hate it here and tecahers go then leave. I CANT REALLY MY PARENTS THINK YOU ARE HELPING ME AND I CANT REALLY JerLAEVE CAN I? And pinning our scarves is a demerit worthy issue? really? The literal amount of bias in this school is mmagnifyingv The teaching style at this school is horrendous, this school gives me a headache and if you want your children to be traeted like prison inmates then send them to this school.

PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE refrain from putting your children in the AIA kellyville campus. The primary is okay, but the highschool- lord, oh lord have MERCYYY on our souls. you might think im being dramatic but i've been there for 8 years and i recently left. shoutout to my arabic teacher for always breaking our rulers on the tables and reducing everyone to tears. shoutout to the administration for never listening to both sides of the story and being close-minded. shoutout to my year six teacher for only favouring the smarter, more talented students over the others (and this is speaking from one of her favourites).shoutout to the other arabic teacher who dresses like a highlighter and has the scariest way of scolding students, and who gives demerits like candy.and finally, shoutout to my year 8 english teacher who purposely pitted the boys and the girls against eachother, making the classroom seem like the worlds court and on top of it all failed to maintain discipline in the classroom. now for some actually nice ones. shoutout to my amazing year four teacher who had amazing handwriting, definitely one of the very few good teachers there. we love her. shoutout to the school imaam, too. his khutbas are truly a work of art. i loved them, the only thing i miss about aia is that. thats about it from me. the primary is okay but the high school is a literal hellhole. please dont send ur kids here. its a traumatic experience, i mean it.

i have been working at aia strathfield for a few years now, and all I can say is don't send your children here. our principal is a horrid, wicked old lady who will mentally scar your children. her screams are traumatic and children turn the other way when they see her approaching. this would be a good school if it weren't for the vile old women in charge of it (MAFFAZ) and other female teachers who suck up to her endlessly. i urge you not to send your kids here unless maffaz is gone. maffaz if you're reading this, you're an abominable, obnoxious woman.

absolutely disgusting. dont ever send your children here. the principal is disgusting and has absolutely no morals or respect for anyone. shes so up herself and doesn't understand the term "thinking logically". shes stuck up and rude, talks about students and their parents behind their backs and is extremely unreasonable. hope maffaz al safi gets fired, and I hope she gets what she deserves. DONT SEND YOUR KIDS HERE!!! they're just money hungry thieves.

Ignore the last review, the teachers here are great and this is a great school, you don't know how much the teachers do behind their backs in order to keep everybody at the same pace. Honestly its a great school, and if u do face any obstacles u can talk to the teachers about them. This school is great.

Ignore my last review I just had exam week and everything changed. I realized the Kellyville campus is stupid. They are desperate for students, if u can, send your kids to Strathfield instead even if the building is bad. We legit had a Humanities presentation, and everyone was laughing at the lack of knowledge and abundance of plagarism in the presentation, the kid I thought were smart I was correcting them. They don't have an entrance exam and this has lead to lazy kids being forced to repeat a year, but they still stay in the school. If u r comming here for education, I think you would love to know that a kid who got 13/70 in his Maths exam is proud of it honestly go to the Strathfield campus, they have an entrance exam and the kids r probably smarter considering the school is more strict. The teachers here are good, only if u get to know them and make a good impression on them, but the class is disruptive. For the Kellyville campus, IB is just a selling point, trust me if u think ur kid is smart and he will become smarter think again. The students r really nice, but nobody honestly cares in this school except for a few kids. Don't send primary kids to a k-12 school tho, as they frequently swear in year 2. Its an OK school, but the kids need to try harder. The atmosphere is not tough enough considering what u pay for.

Kellyville Campus:
I joined this school in the last week of term 2, and it is in fact the best school I have been to. In the past I used to live in Hornsby and attended Hornsby North Public School. I then moved to Malek Fahd Hoxton Park for a year and it was honestly crap. I then went to Granville Boys, where I discovered the school isn't actually that bad until they implemented "Project Based Learning" and so I left to go to the local High School, Turramurra High School. It was a decent school in the area, but I lost all my respect and dignity, and didn't have a great reputation amongst the staff, and my grades were the worst they had ever been. I moved houses to Schofields and Enrolled for year 9, (and was surprised there was no entrance exam) and after a short interview with the Deputy I was accepted and moved in. Right from day 1, all the boys were very kind and treated me like they had known me for very long. I continue to be great friends with these individuals in year 9 and 10, and the teachers have helped me achieve outstanding results in some subjects. All teachers are very kind, accepting and welcoming; they treat you like you are their own children. That is, if you give them the respect they deserve. As strict as the school is, (Children get demerits for calling a teacher "CUZ") some teachers struggle to keep the talkative class quiet, which usually results in us staying in and doing work during recess and lunch. I am also a little confused as to why we study Stage 5.1 and 5.2 mathematics mainly instead of 5.3. Overall if you are joining this school just work hard, it is the only thing which will get you far in life. Go that extra step and don't be lazy, trust me you will regret it. If you are thinking of enrolling your kid in Primary school, from what I have heard, it is exactly like any other Islamic school in Sydney. Teacher controls everything the class does, whether it be doing math for the whole day, or not going out to do PE. and the smaller students pick up the bad things from the High Schoolers at an age which is not appropriate for them.

If you think this is the BEST school then think again! my daughters cousin has been in the school until she graduated and she did IB. you would be shocked with the marks she got 65/100% she went through depression and until this very day she has to go see a therapist every 2 weeks that's not only because of her mark there is more to come. There has been love stories and drama for the most important 2 years 11&12. And not to mention the very rude and disrespectful teachers. There has been several incidents with the principle having favoritism over other students and that's because that student was wealthier than the other student CLEARLY!Not only student are complaining. But teachers are too over having there own stationary that the school should provide and yet they are still complaining to there own students! You think this is a Islamic school TEACHERS ARE SWEARING IN THE HALLS ! Boys are texting girls and sending NUDE pictures this is a very disgusting school

My child has gone to this school since grade 4, honestly it has been a struggle. Over years they has been bullied not just students but teachers. Some of the teachers have no remorse for their students. The school itself provides an excellent education but the staff disgust me, though I cant speak for other parents I can speak on behalf on my child though they are not the perfect student, but who is, they are being directed at by multiple teachers and one even had the audacity to lay their hand on them. Now yet another authoritative figure has abused their position by daily reminding my child of what a horrible attitude they have in front of other staff members and students this is disgusting behaviour to embarrass my child publicly we are considering pulling them out and sending them to a public school but just as a warning to other parents considering this school for their children don't from the bottom of my heart don't,

My daughter was a former student at AIA Strathfield Campus. My daughter first started in year 6, we decided to send her to an islamic school so she can learn about the wonderful faith of Islam, me and my husband thought that this school could provide a religious education to my child instead the teachers, (although there were some good ones) created an unsafe environment for my daughter, instead of worrying about the academic and religious side of things they care about their reputation, they relentlessly threatened to kick my daughter out instead of offering her further help as she has dyslexia. After struggling for two terms she finally felt settled until an inappropriate encounter with a male teacher, although I don't want to get into details as it was an extremely hard time for me and my family, the principal tried to defend this teacher after he quit. Now we immediately moved her to a public school and she has never been happier and is excelling in her studies. I whole heartedly implore you to not send children to this school

I am a teacher at aia and all I can say is once the student has a reputation the teachers will treat them like shit, especially the principal. One incident that occurs gets blamed on that one student. BEFORE EXPELLING A STUDENT, U HAVE TO INVESTIGATE THE SITUATION. I know a student who got expelled for an action which she never done. I still work at aia and I think it is a horrible environment for children. I am extremely devastated as to why they put students through this. Maffaz if you’re reading this. Investigate problems before you put the blame on the innocent.

My daughter hasn't started at the Kellyville campus for 2019 as yet, but holy God, after reading the reviews on this site my suspicions of it being nothing more than a money generating business are not too far off being proved correct. Might just see what this year brings, but as concerned parents, we're already looking at alternatives. I mean, at $4000+ for a kindy student per annum in fees, I can't justify why. Note: As part of the stationary list for kindy students the school requires our little one to be equipped with a white board marker, i) why does a kindy student need a white board marker, and ii) we've paid over $4000 in fees, so why can't the school go out of its way and spend $10 on each student to provide markers that the teachers are going to take home any way. Been suspicious since the very first time I walked through those gates.

I am totally agree with the previous comments, IB is a failed marketing strategy aims to rip off parents money. Maffaz is a hopeless , ruthless dictator who have a big mouth and no ears. Aia is a money making school that goes to the pockets of Salman and Mona. Good luck

Studied in this school since year 6. Had a gorgeous time until I got to year 11. Things turned downhill when I was persuaded by several heads of various departments to pursue IB in years 11 and 12. Year 11 was all about Egyptian politics and the Mubarak uprising and other Arab springs to date. No attention was given to studies by any teacher. Actual study time was 10% compared to the 90% of useless chitchatter. Then comes Year 12. The teachers expect us to know the basics. We don't have a clue. Try telling that to the teachers and they get all defensive and say how dare you tarnish the schools image blah blah. Now let me point out to all of you that IB testing is based on both years 11 and 12 materials. If I can't get the basics right then you're screwed. I failed the IB. I struggled to get into a good university. My advice to future students: pull out of there. Never give a single penny of your hard earned money to these crooks. You have to fork out more than 10k a year for meagre scraps from lazy irresponsible teachers and a witch of a principal. Trust me I was there when Mona Abdel fattah was principal and when maffaz became principal. Both were horrible at least Mona was a bit more flexible with matters than maffaz. All they want is your money. They want to be known as a prestigious IB school. That's why they go out of their way to push people to do IB because if you don't then "what will people say if no one took IB this year, we need to keep the money making scheme going". Put your kids in public schools. They may not be prestige but they definitely will teach your children correct Australian values and morals along with academic knowledge valuable for your children's futures

I went to this school after experiencing 2 schools due to my parents moving around a lot. I honestly dont know how this school is still open and please if you are a parent do not put your children in this trap, rather also a trap for you as as you start ib you will fall behind the australian education system and will be forced to stay here. The school has some enthusiastic teachers however lacks australiam morals and principles and i may even think may be helping terrorist organisations overseas as all the money we spend somehow disappears and half the high school trachers are imports with no regard to modern society and repsect. Additionally as most parents in this school are first generation, they will be happy with the unorthodox ways that they may relate to in their country, which doesnt reflect australian culture, and the placing of their children in this school will lead to an unsuccessful and badly choiced career and furure as no social and verbal skills will be developed in the crucial development period. Thank god i moved to another school or i would have failed my hsc. There is much more unorthodox ideas and methodologies used in this ‘school’ that cant be written in a simple online review. Please I advise you to boycott and report this school.

I am a parent who had to recently move my child from the school. The school is repulsive and is based on lies and corruption. If you are not an Arab, then be careful as you will be treated differently. The teaching standards are so poor and definitely not IB. There is no anti bullying policy in place and how can there be when the ones to bully the children are the teachers? Mona Abdel Fatah is a tyrant who does not want parent involvement as it would expose all their lies and corruption. I know over 15 parents who have recently removed their children from AIA. My children suffered from anxiety whilst being in that school and it's taken a long time for them to recover. Don't waste your money as the idea of getting a genuine Islamic education and environment is a farce. Take your child to a public school and its much better to pay outside the school for tution and Islamic knowledge rather than allow your children and their souls to be corrupted by tyrants. AIA is business using the name of Islam to make money. Please avoid!!!

I am writing about AIA KELLYVILLE it a disgusting school! And for the teacher that wanted to say that any damage is done at home! You my friend are definitely an AIA SHEEP TEACHER! For your information our children are at school from 8.30 to 3.30 which in turn means a majority of the waking hours is in the care or should I say abusive torture, unsafe and low standard education of AIA! It is run as a dictatorship if you try to discuss any issues you are threatened to be kicked out. It is also a family dynasty that all are on the payroll! They have CASH ONLY uniform shops and provide you with dodgy receipts! I went across from a public school and I can definitely say the level of education is not where it should be! THEY CHARGED US IB LEVY FOR 4 YEARS AND ONLY BECAME AN IB SCHOOL THIS YEAR! Mona Abdel Fatteh is an abusive liar that does not know the meaning of respect and as she stated in her parent information session she will treat our kids like monkeys in a zoo SO STAY AWAY FROM THIS SCHOOL RUN BY A LUNATIC DICTATOR

My son and I are reverts. My husband and I chose this school for our son to start high school in because we heard good reviews about this school.
Year 7 was good but things went downhill in year 8. My son was bullied and he was picked on day in day out. They kept asking him how does it feel to be a kafir. He didn't know where to turn. He eventually quit Islam because of it and the assistant principal told us he must leave.

Thank you teacher for your apply on 7 May because they pay for you to say this good words without caring about our kids. This school still have the big responsibility about our kids and damage their life more. AL SAFI the dictator caring only about her business. Still AIA the worst school. Keep your kids away from this school.

Allow me to correct you mate, damage life of children as you call it starts from home and not from school, taking care of the children starts from home and not from anywhere else ...the school just completes what the parents at home began, my advice to you is to review your way of educating your children, before insulting and blaming others.
Of course, you can not to agree with the metho or policy used in this school or any other educational institutions, as this school is not your son best place in Australia, but the style of denigration of people in your comment shows that the dialogue takes a personal issue and I am afraid this will expose and it maybe lead you to a legal matters.

My children attended AIA for 4 years till we left last term, I feel awful for having subjected them to the tyranny of this dictatorship run by a vile women that thinks she is a ruler and we are peasants! My children are now back in the public school system and are amazed at how kind teachers are meant to be! They come home happier and calmer not nervous and scared from being yelled at and abused all day! They flash fancy things such as IB but that's a pile of rubbish designed to suck more money out of us! My children who were awarded trophies and principles medallions are so far behind their grades in the Public School system! I spoke with the shadow minister of Education who is also of the Muslim faith and he said he wouldn't send his kids to an Islamic school even if you paid him!

I enrolled all three of my children at the school since they started in kindy. My children feel comfortable and cared for. The teachers are always on the tip of their toes making sure that all students are learning. I always watch the teachers at hometime and they never allow a student to go unless the teacher sees the parents. My children feel good that they are amongst other children and have never complained. My children feel happy. If my children are happy, then I am happy.
The kids are always engaged in fun activities.

I am talking here and expressing my opinion as a father of two students in this ancient school
At the begging we chose this school because it was near the neighborhood where we live, later and after these years we discover this school as one of the most schools that maintains its students as it gives a moderate Islamic character and make our children ready to integrate into Australian society
We would like here to express our appreciation to the principle Mrs Al Safi and all the teachers in the school as they continued to deal with our beloved ones our children in a professional and high class way.
We are all know that education in schools is good only by discipline first along with upscale education.
And this is what is touching in our continuous dealings with Mrs. Al Safi and the distinguished teachers of the school.

We might not have all facilities or a beautiful building school but that's a good thing because were learnt to appreciate what we have and what others really want. Teachers here are really friendly and are there for you whenever . I'm really thankful for going here. As a bonus students here are like family very friendly
I'm , rate this school
