Never send your kids here if you love them. The teachers are full blown bully’s who strive to make the kids lives living hell. The principal is a absolute psychopath who should not be in a position of leadership, let alone around adolescents.

This school is so so bad don’t go here. They only care about uniforms and they will make you skip a whole day of school just because of your uniform. They claim to care about your education but if you do one thing wrong and don’t wear the uniform right, there’s a whole fight about it. Society is changing and schools can’t just stop kids from expressing themselves.

This school has been the horror of my nightmares. Being a graduate at this school has felt so uncomfortable and embarrassing. The school focuses on all sorts of different rules that have to do with the uniform which is suitable but the school only likes people with sports ability and being smart. Luckily I got A's in most of my subjects throughout school, but I know a couple of friends who just wanted to enjoy high school and only liked certain topics and wanted to find out more about their future jobs, the teachers said they were lazy and had a bad mindset because they apparently didn't want to go forward in their learning. At one time the teacher screamed at us for getting bad in our tests and how we were 'useless kids' and that advanced English class shouldn't have existed when we were trying our best.

Yall claiming the rules are strict, but my high school is quite the same frankly. We have strict rules about dress code and hair. Only thing I know about this school is that it's near Tara Anglican School For Girls, which I went pass once while visiting Parramatta and that Felix Lee went there. So all I can say is, hope that school appreciates and recgonises their famous ex-student. Stan Stray Kids Yall.

The school doesn’t care about my of the important things that should be cared for. They care about all the small dumb things. Instead of caring about kids skipping class and not doing work they care about the little things like haircuts, clothing, socks and more dumb things. They also don’t care about what the students do in class “work wise” they only care how you are presenting yourself. And I’m not going to write a whole heap about it cause it’s all bad there’s nothing good to really write about.

It’s good because Felix went there, but bad because the rules are terrible.

It felt so good when I graduated last year. It was like something bad was taken from me. Through out all the year here, I must say that it is not a great school at all. If your child isn’t a top student or an extrovert, then this is the worst school to choose. Many teachers have favouritism for only those kinds of students. Other than the top students, they don’t see potential in anyone else. I chose not to get an ATAR because I did not want to be overwhelmed with pressure. I was a good student with average marks, 1st in general 1 maths and 2nd in visual design. I remember one of the head teachers said something along the lines of us non atar students to not get in the way of the atar students. Disgusting. We still have a right to our education and the HSC is just the same for anyone else. This school also does not care about the mental state of the students. All they will tell you is to study, study, study; they make the HSC seem like a bigger deal than what it is. They put this negative aura around everyone. They do not care about the students wellbeing. Some of my friends left because of that. Mental illness and mild disabilities will not be helped other than learning support but not everyone has access to that. The most they could do about mental heath is send your child to the councillor. If your child doesn’t meet all of their standards including understanding what they teach, your child never had a chance to begin with. This school cares more about their image then their students. They have punished people for things so small, and the bigger things get a pass. Things like socks and haircuts as well as what jewellery compared to the troublemakers that get away with throwing food at each other or graffiti or even just disrupting the class all the time. The reputation for this school is already getting worse by being mentioned in daily telegraph AND seven news about parents complaints. The fact that the school is trying to minimise the potential in others by minimising language(French) and the creative arts. A shame. So if you really want what’s best your your child, do not send them here. Thank you for reading.

As a student for the past 6 years here and graduated, teachers are disgustingly irresponsible for their students as teachers had said in class "work was so bad that they wanted to get run over", wanted to "throw objects at the children" and felt the advance english class "shouldn't have ever existed". I know numerous students which have had anxiety attacks from going to certain classes due to the pressure the teacher imposes. Throughout my whole schooling education here, I had only 4 teachers that actually cared. As a responsible student, I found it laughable that students who had "stabbed another with a pencil" had only gotten detention. The rankings are only high this year due to student's own ambition to work hard, not the teachers. As some teachers had only marked top students draft works and let the others fend for themselves, which is disgusting. As an average B student who was ranked 7th/30th in Unit 1 RE, I had been told by the Vice Principal, that "I'm a lazy and unenthusiastic student, who isn't going anywhere" because I requested to move from Religion Unit 1 to Unit 2. Do not send your children here. I have told management about these issues and obviously nothing has happened.

i envy kids at other schools who have teachers who actually give a shit about them... you're only noticed my the principal if you're in sports teams. Every morning in homeroom the teacher covers the latest sporting achievements during the announcements but NEVER academic ones. They have absolutely stupid rules such as 'your socks have to be above your ankle' 'girls are only allowed to wear one earring in each ear, it can't be any colour other than silver or gold and it must me a stud' or 'boys have to have short hair, any hair that is touching the ear is too long'. the teachers focus on pulling you up for these irrelevant things rather than trying to get to know you and be friendly. if you don't understand the material being taught within the first lesson god help you because they don't want to spend any extra time on helping you understand. IF YOU HATE KIDS THAT MUCH WHY ARE YOU HERE?? All this school cares about is how they look to the outside community. if you're considering sending your child to this school please think again, the school DOES NOT care about your child's needs.

This school needs to be fixed. Having ridiculous little rules like 'girls must have their hair tied up when it is below their shouders', 'all students must have natural hair colour', 'boys must have short hair' and the dress code is really trash, all these petty rules are utter bullshit and it's too strict. What exactly is 'natural' hair colour? Our hair is not the school's we should be able to do whatever we want with our hair, but of course tie it up during pracs in science, food tech and wood/metal tech. Besides all this, the attitude of some of the teachers is appaulling, they expect respect from the students and are surprised when they don't get it. Back to the hair/uniform issue the school doesn't really try to lift the students' self esteem, they always seem to focus on the wrong concerns of the students. Not to mention, the school doesn't really have a handle on the toublemakers, they just don't learn their lesson. The teachers should put them outside so they don't distract the rest of the class. Another thing is the uniforms, they are uncomfortable and heavy, they feel unnatural when you are wearing them. Lastly, this school doesn't teach life skills like growing crops, the actual english language, how to vote, what to do when you are pregnant at a young age, domestic violence, masturation, the human rights and etc.

I am disappointed in the attitude of some of the teachers. They seem to be focusing on the wrong concerns of our students(SOCKS).
Not much in the way of lifting the students self asteem.
Also, seem to be focusing on catering for a small group of students, not the whole school community.

This school is brilliant. The care shown by staff is amazing and when students finish their schooling they are truly sad to leave. That shows you how special this school is.

The teachers at this school genuinely care. As a parent of a Year 12 student we have made many friends because of the strong sense of community. These friends will be ours for the rest of our lives.
