I attended Wantirna College from 1992-1997. In my final year of high school there were over 1500 students, this was due to the former Premier Kennett closing the nearby schools. Yes, there were definitely allot of students who bullied students and at the time it was hard to detect and address it. Back then I do not feel there was any training or policies so it meant the aggressors got away with it, dropped out in Year 10 or were transferred to another school. However, I will never forget the support of my teachers when I was struggling to complete my studies in Year 12 due to very poor health. All my teachers supported me during class and after school. My History teacher believed in me when I did not believe in myself. I will never forget that. Great teachers change lives and there are plenty of dedicated teachers who only want their students to succeed.

The teachers were absolutely lovely at Wantirna! My child learnt so much and has a bright big future ahead of her, all students were nice to her, the teachers are strict on discipline and teaching kids to respect themselves and one another, the teachers care so much for the kids and to help each and everyone of the students learn in the way they feel they like to learn.

My child got verbally and physically bullied. Every day he would say to me "Dad, I don't want to go to school" I went into the school myself and heard children swearing and verbally abusing each other.
I told the staff and they didn't seem to care. I exchanged my child to a new school.
This school is very bad and you should not send your child there.

rankig above 200 is not good sign. Wantirna is a 'good' neigborhood and I expect the rankings to have some bearing based on socio economic factors. By the way I m not a snob just an academic
