my name is tomas johnson, i graduated sandringham 'tech' in 2009. i cannot recommend an educational instituation any higher than Sandringham, and i went to melb uni after graduating. it may not be precisely what it was back in my day, but my word this is a special school indeed. the teachers were an absolute blessing, the students of my class (i was in the performing arts cohort) were and remain exceptional individuals of quite exceptional intelligence and the most solid character. frankly i adored the place and if god wills it the small theatre is exactly as it used to be. also bring back no uniforms. this school cares more about their reputation as a school than the students wellbeing. Students are being overwhelmed with high expectations and forced to sit through learning with hardly any fun interactive learning. This school is not the best option so reconsider. Ms Bate is probably 80 without all the make up!

The schools quite good though the past few years its been trying really hard to appeal to specific people rather than actually do much about the schools physical state. Many buildings have holes in the walls, asbestos and so on. And I swear some buildings are like 80 years old But they just started works in the senior campus. So maybe it will get better. I Also think a lot of people joined the school because it was a bit more rough around the edges, it didn't really care about how you presented or expressed your self the environment was a lot more casual. But it slowly changed to again appeal to specific people. Which was a bit upsetting but I guess all the original people are graduating in the next few years so it doesn't really matter. The new people coming in are exactly who they want.

this school has been getting better, amazing art program which is fantastic, as a year 11 student with strong motivation to study the arts

I'm currently a year 10 student at this school. Over the years the school has started to go down pretty badly; the facilities have always been pretty bad but they havent made much effort to fix them, and now all they care about is the presentation of the school, not the wellbeing of the students. I'm jealous of anyone at other schools with the ability to express themselves.

I am currently a student at Sandringham, all they care about is making the school look the best for the public eye. They ignore bigger problems such as the facilities and their education for students, but really care about how well presented everyone looks and to have a good name for the school. I just wish the school could be like it was 2 years ago

This school was once quite decent but has declined somewhat over the years. Sandringham College claims to be progress but becomes more Draconian by the day. It comes cross as a "wanna
be" private school but lacks genuine integrity. It needs to be reminded that it exists for students and not a self serving agenda. I would advise against sending your child there.

Just moved to this school this year and honestly, I love it here. I feel that the environment is a lot more relax and friendlier here and the students here are really nice, like everyone gets along with each other and its nice to see that c:
As well as that, the teachers are super cool, you can get along with them quite well and they also have a great art program here (which is the main reason why I came here). Honestly I would recommend this school :D

I don't suggest your child going to this school as teachers don't correct work, teachers bully , students are on high, school is disorganised. Please don't go to this school

I am a past student who moved to the Senior Campus. Moving to Sandringham College was probably the best decision I have ever made. Their range of subjects is amazing and you create a really good bond with the teachers. Would definitely recommend this school!
I'm , rate this school
