I think this school caters well for children who have additional needs and work at grade level or below only. It seems to have a lot of infighting. I think there is a lack of communication between staff. I found this school archaic and also that only the high level staff (non classroom teachers) have up to date skills and knowledge or practice it, if they have. Principal is great, but I believe he has the wrong team backing him (I think it's their behaviour in the background, on social media and in the public domain that is discrediting him and causing the damage). That's the problem!

PGS may have ok academic achievements but their total lack of discipline is alarming. Boys leaving immediately as I don't want them to learn disrespectful rude behaviour.
Unfortunately this falls on deaf ears with the current headmaster. The latest video doing the rounds is more than disturbing

considering how the local government schools are performing I would have expected a great deal more considering the expense. The Peninsula School results are comparative to the schools within the area, in fact some government schools are performing above their standard. The fancy buildings and manicured lawns are lovely and the odd latte at the pavilion. At the time we thought we were doing what was best for our children sending them to a private school as I think many people do. We have had a taste of both private and government education and are so happy our children are no longer at the Peninsula School.

Great school. It was great when I was there in the 90's but now I am blown away. Worth every cent.
