School management is poor. When a parent inquires about issues, management cover it up or make minimal effort to resolve issues. Management do not even follow the schools own values and guidelines and if you follow up on the issue, they claim they are try to resolve the issue, and the problem or issue reoccurs again.

My daughter started at BCC in Year 7 and she has flourished in her education, faith, friendships and overall confidence. We’re so happy we chose BCC.

For anyone that has been misled by the Fake News Media in Canberra, Brindabella Christian College has just been nominated in the Top 100 Schools in Australia and entered at No. 51.
Also, just in from our Professional GENOS External Consultants:
VOICE 2021 BRINDABELLA CHRISTIAN COLLEGE STAFF SURVEY
“There is a positive culture of respect (86%) and healthy confidence to report risks (84%), which is 11% above benchmark. Staff comments reflected these results, with BCC’s Christian ethos and values the most frequent strength cited by staff, and many also commenting on the inclusive, respectful and welcoming culture.”
In the detail of the data report, specifically, 87% of staff survey respondents agree that “bullying and abusive behaviours toward staff are prevented and discouraged”. This is 11% higher than the Voice Project’s benchmark average for other independent schools.
It is important that any specific bullying complaint be treated seriously and investigated. Staff feedback shows Brindabella has a positive reporting culture in which most staff (87%) feel safe reporting misconduct of other staff, and 81% are confident that a complaint would be taken seriously and investigated thoroughly.
Compared to other independent schools, Brindabella Christian College significantly outperforms the benchmark in many areas, but most clearly on career development and opportunities (+23%), and communication and support across teams within the school (+20%). Flexibility (+17%) and performance feedback (+14%) are also significantly above benchmark.”

The school is constantly loosing good staff and there appears to be not enough current staff to adequately teach current students. When we asked former staff after they had left they would say it was due to mistreatment and bullying from management. Also when you bring up concerns or ask further questions about incidents to management, management become defensive and on some occasions aggressive. Very disappointing.

Some teachers are great but others pick on certain students and then are dishonest about it to try and cover their behaviour up.

The teaching staff are fantastic and our children have achieved outstanding Naplan results in year 3 and 5. Perhaphs more importantly they enjoy going to school and learning as a result of the approach to teaching.
