This school is the worst school out there, 90% of the teachers do not care about you learning they care about getting paid, they do the bare minimum. This School has ruined mine and many other students lives . This school needs to be closed. it’s a disgusting the toilets are filled with hate graffiti and that’s always the last to come off, the teachers don’t care about the students only about looking good as a school , getting sent home for the wrong socks is the most stupid thing i’ve heard in my life. Do not bring your kid to Albert Park College unless you want them to hate school forever.

This school has its priorities completely wrong. They prioritise uniform and perforative activism over the actually learning on us students. It is technically a progressive school their co called progression only goes as far as calling the uniforms option one and two and a poorly run f=diversity club and you are loved A4 posters. While its not the worst school in the world, uniforms need to be way more chill and teachers need to calm down about sport uniform. Shoutout to Miss Shamaoil, Miss Luckamn, Mr Jackson, Miss Seel, Miss Dimofski and Mr Kulesza

This school is terrible, all they do is suspended kids and yell at them for there uniform. The campus is absolutely terrible. In my opinion this school should be shut down as know one is learning anything other that how to wear a blazer and tie.

This school cares about art and useless stuff more than the mental health of students it’s so bad the year 9 campus is about the size of a peanut

Great range of options for electives, (pretty sure one of the only public schools with electives as year 7 on wards) SEAL program is great, atmosphere is awesome!

What a fantastic school this is - the school offers so many opportunities in academia as well as in non academic fields. I sense will graduate from this school as focused, motivated and well rounded individuals. Overall the school exceeded my expectations - I would highly recommend it as a progressive, instructive, academically challenging and supportive school

Very disappointing. Even the students in the SEAL programme are unmotivated and rowdy in class. The teachers are clueless, and mix up the names of several students and their grades. The new year 8 sport programme which started in 2020 is also the biggest joke. Once a week students must participate in sports for the WHOLE DAY at the new Lakeside campus. Also the classrooms are kept in the worst order, after lunch there are crumbs and apple cores and plastic wrapping all over the floor. If you decide to come here, please, leave in year 9.

Son really happy here and growing up into a well rounded and considerate young man. Can’t imagine him or his friends singing lewd songs on a tram. Nice school, normal and focused on things that matter!

this school is absolutely atrocios, my child got harrasest for a week in a half then got physicaly abused by a group of girls multiple times in clear vision of teachers and staff on school grounds, the girls just told the teachers to walk away and they did knowing that something wasnt right, the girls that were beating her up only got a three day suspension and it has never been spoken again.

My son absolutely hate's this school (and believe me, he is just one of many many student's who feel the same ) but really has no choice but to attend here.
I dread asking him "So how was school?" knowing full well of the answer. And it's not just the answer, but the depressed and sad way that he gives it. He's not being bullied by fellow student's as he's very confident with lots of friends. It's the damn school, the lazy and incompetent attitude of most of the teacher's. So whatever you do, do not send your kids there if you can avoid it.

This school is horrifying. My daughters English teacher treats her so bad. She has recorded some verbal abuse her teacher responds to her and approaches her. Im utterly appalled by this school. The school acts like it is top rated for VCE but really aren't they just have a lot of students who have tutors and help them learn.

I gave sent my 3 children to APC and overall we could not be happier with the rounded education our children have received . The programs available for sports, music, dance and arts are fantastic and give them opportunities to be involved in what many private schools are offering. My daughter has been involved in the Rowing Academy which has been fantastic as well as my children taking up the basketball academy also been great. Teachers have been really good overall and invested in the education of the kids. We like the community feel of the school and the principal/ teachers have been very invested in developing a progressive innovative school that offers many options with SEAL, VCE and now IB . A great inner city Public School.

My child attends this school and is constantly victimised and targeted for the incorrect uniform she wears, even though she is always in full school uniform, just an added jumper since the school jumper, isn't warm, and gives her rashes.
The school seems to care more about their uniform and tries so hard to act like a private school, even though they are a public school.
She isn't the only one who constantly gets told off for the wrong socks and the long sleeve tops UNDER the school uniform.
Their bullying policies aren't effective at all, and didn't commemorate the national bullying awareness day.
The year 9 campus has been compared to a prison. The students self lead their learning for the whole year that has to connect to the environment. Year 9 was the epicentre of students losing motivation to do school work and was a year for rampage for drugs and alcohol.
Mental illness spiralled down rapidly in the year 9 campus and nothing was done about it.

Their year 9 program, Da Vinci, is very experimental and most teachers don’t even know what it is that the students are to do

I have been personally victimised by this school

There isn't a category for horrific or I would select that. My dughter was bullied relentlessly and the school did absolutely nothing.
Th entire focus at this school is on creative arts.
Sure they got good ATAR results the first year, but that's largely due to the select eentry SEAL program that makes up a big chunk of the classes.
On RU Ok day today, if you told the leadership of the school you weren't ok, the response of the school leadership would be, "well, sucks to be you, go see a counsellor". What they really mean is "I'm not interested, and I just don't care. I have Art Show, Vaudeville, Literary events and new building projects to organise. Thats my legacy. Im not interested in student safety, and just go elsewhere if you don't like it"

We wish you'd sent your son to CGS as well - caus it would be another spot free for someone whom deserves to be in a great school equal to CGS. I was really impressed with the teaching staff and the maths teacher my daughter has is absolutely fantastic as are all APC teachers. They could easily beat CGS in rowing too- so why waste 30k at CGS when you will get a much better rounded education at APC - with a great learning environment- and as good or better outcomes then CGS. I went to CGS and glad my daughter is in APC...

The schools shit my child goes there and his maths teacher is an absaloute idiot has no clue he's in seal and learned nothing this year despite trying extremely hard and many of the other kids feel similar I have had many meeting with the school and nothing has or will be done. Secondly he signed up for design and technology which had turned out to be wood works but even worse. tje lack of response to urgent teacher problems shows there's bad leaders and I DEFINETLY wish we sent him to Caulfield grammar

I am thrilled with level of education and care Albert park provides. My Son bounces out of bed and cannot wait for his school day to start with great enthusiasm.
