The school has come a very long way over the years and I highly recommend it. I was at my end with trying to find the right support for my child to be able to go back to school safely. My child was at her end wanting to give up on life. This school has been our miracle; I see it is that for everyone there. They are extremely supportive of the students and families, have a gentle and healthy approach now, are very transparent and open door policy… their programmes are better than anywhere else you will find and they benefit the students individual needs and goals. My child now loves school again, can see a future, has made a good friend with healthy foundations, accepts help, looks up to the teachers as role models and is actually happy again! The fact I no longer have to be that helicopter parent just to make sure my child receives what they need says everything.

My son has behavioral issues. Bullying & abusive to school friends & family members. He has also been diagnosed with ADHD & ODD. Suspended 3 times from school last year (Yr7) He is about to start a new school this year (2017). We are at our wits end, what to do for him & to find the best possible care & help he needs. Have heard positive & negative comments about Redbank. Can anyone advise me if this school is worth looking into? Thanks

We had the worst experience at this school and I would never recommend it! When things are done like restraining a child and u question them, they close their doors and tell u they won't discuss unless u submit a request via Freedom of information act. They are a joint organisation of Dept Ed & Dept of Health but dominated by Dept of Health who act unprofessionally and unethically but hide behind the joint organisation. As a parent u get no answers when u want to question their practices.. the Dept of Edu component was outstanding in terms of how they ran their classrooms. Our issue was Dept Health who call the shots re physical restraint and who's psychologists think their Gods gift to mankind! We went there because our child's Primary school was at their wits end not knowing how to get additional funding for our child who needed some support in mainstream setting.
