Had a teacher in year 7 who was too lazy to do spelling while all the other classes were doing spelling. He used to put basket ball on the screen and would distract the boys.
To this day I struggle a lot with my spelling and learning and did not get the help I needed at this school, which was a Shame with how much it was.
Moved to public school and got the help I needed and even got better grades | | | By Alumnus - 07 Feb 2023, Rate: bad | this school is very bad, becuase firstly, the students are so misbehaved they have to have vape alarms in the toilets. secondly there are so many kids its hard to make friends especially if your not popular you get bullied so badly. kids are rude to each other and the teachers. the teachers dont tell the kids off and let them do whatever. thirdly kids steal from each other and tease each other. if one person doesnt have a particular jumper or something you cant be their friend because you're "poor"
the toilets get graffitied on and they stink.
the uniform is ok but when you go to mt barker centeral you can see all these kids and they're not respresenting they're school properly.
i moved schools because i wasnt getting good education there. the teachrs didnt care if i needed help. i hope people read this and understand what a bad environment cornerstone is. | | | By Alumnus - 29 Jun 2021, Rate: poor | | ehhhh is ok i mean could be better. the punishment system is not good. like two reminders in one semester is a focas? lockers with no doors are not at all good people can steal all your stuff and not going to snitchand tachers wont do anything if they do. put doors on lockers, have more reminders given until a focas, and the year eight grading system is so bad like realy bad like i have no clue what im getting. alos a ew teachers arrnt the best either to strict, dont care about your feelings or really creepy. asemblys go for to long same with homegroup. uniform is ok but the jackets for middle school are bad as. there uncomfortable, thick and they look so bad. also clean the year 7 bathroom it smells like bad bad in there or just get rid of the year 7s all together. dont really help if you have learning problems. they just say they agnologe it and will try there best to help but dont do nothing. canteen needs to be cheaper. but over all pretty bad. | | |
