Reviews | By Parent - 09 Feb 2022, Rate: poor | SHC is fast becoming a school more interested in identity politics than education. My children attend the school and i have been unimpressed with it from the beginning. It has failed to live up to it's past reputation as a school that creates a safe learning environment for students. Bullying is a common issue at the school and focus on your traditional disciplines of Mathematics, Science and English is not where it should be at all. It is so poor that we are now looking to remove our children from this school. | | By Parent - 02 Apr 2015, Rate: excellent | SHCS is an excellent school promoting excellence in both academic and sporting achievement. This has been the case for three generations of my family. For my father his brothers and their cousins, my brothers and cousins and myself, the school was a boys only school run by the marist brothers. For my sons and daughters it has been an excellent co-educational senior school run by lay staff. The academic achievement of the student cohort in my children's years of attendance has been nothing short of spectacular. The sporting achievement has reflected the academic achievement. This is a top class school by Australian standards. | | By Alumnus - 11 Nov 2009, Rate: excellent | This was a great school in my time. It stuck to it's Christian principles, which provides a peace and moral covering over the students. I hope they have note moved away from this due to PC.
I recommend this school to parents, who are looking for good school in SA. | | >>More reviews... |
