Hi there,
My son has been there for the last 3 years and we LOVE Palm Beach Primary School!
We came from Ocean Shores Public School and a few other Byron shire schools, and he enrolled in year 4. Skipped year 3 moving up from NSW and settled in wonderfully well at Palm Beach Primary School.
We highly recommend the teachers and all the staff. Have only had wonderful experiences there and my son is thriving socially and academically.
And it has a great healthy tuckshop menu, online apps to talk to the teachers directly, lots of music and sport, and even school sports on the beach friday afternoons. Fantastic!
My son has had male teachers for 2 of his 3 years there, and that is great as I am a single mum and he needs all the male mentors he can get.
I would absolutely recommend the school though it does depend on your child where they fit in best! I too have hear great things from friends about Currumbin Primary, and up in the Currumbin Valley Primary, which if your child is a bit more arty i think those schools are more suited. Lots of friends pulled children from what was the old steiner school in nerang and put them in those two schools.
My son is more academic focussed so we chose Palm Beach for that reason.
Hope that helps!!!!
