Reviews | By Alumnus - 19 Dec 2007, Rate: good | As a student who graduated from CKC, I found that although the school was small, the close-knit community which it offered advocated a stronger sense belonging, which left students feeling they could discuss any problems they had with the staff. The lack of VCE units did not have a detrimental impact on my studies, as the subjects I selected were still available through distance education, while a CKC staff member was assigned for support.
Once this school is established, it will be a remarkable educational institution. | | By Parent - 10 Dec 2007, Rate: good | Being a relatively new school, facilities are still being put in place slowly, for instance, sporting involvement (other than weekly lessons) & music are limited. Teacher/Student ratio is good, classes are limited in size. Some subjects at senior level not offered at school are offered by Distance Education, which is not always an option at bigger schools. Overall, I have been happy with the experience at this school. | | By Parent - 30 Nov 2007, Rate: average | A very new school, still finding its feet. Very small, so very limited offerings at VCE level. | |
