Reviews | By Parent - 28 Aug 2018, Rate: excellent | Fantastic place to be. Quality leadership team structure and teaching staff. Major changes and improvements have been made in the last 2 years. The school is achieving high results and the community always feel welcome and included. My children love going to school and always come home happy. They are making great progress in all areas. We love Galilee! | | By Parent - 21 Jan 2016, Rate: excellent | Small school size is a real benefit. Some parents move kids in Grade 5 to private schools as a result of private school intake processes, not due to problems with Galilee. New principal in 2016 is eagerly anticipated and will provide new directions. Highly respected and responsive teaching and administrative staff. Great learning outcomes. Affordable high quality education. Highly recommended. | | By Parent - 15 Jun 2015, Rate: poor | Principal needs to move on including half of the outdate staff. School rotates new teaches (student, overesease) every year or so, no comprehensive or consistent learning. Leadership teams are poor, slow to implement change. Educational outcome is poor. School has a monopoly as it's the only catholic primary school in immediate bay area. Parents feel pressured to get children in for lack of choices. Most parents move children in Yr 3 -4 to private schools. Small cramped play area (worst in the area). Poor example of a catholic primary school/ education. Save your $$$ and send them to one of the local primary schools. | |
