As a parent i have experience that the school support to students especially the one that are doing VCE is lacking and the peer pressure (from student doing IB) is another factor that contributes to lack of motivation for students who are doing VCE. The student doing IB are given priority in exams( like extra time to complete exam) and support while studying. One of the reason is some of the teachers don’t understand that VCE requirements are different from IB and they expect VCE students to do same as IB when assessing their results and scale the VCE students.
