Reviews | By Student - 08 Oct 2023, Rate: average | When I got confused or couldn’t understand something I got yelled at and told I should be able to understand since everyone else did and I obviously wasn’t trying Why would I of bothered asking for clarification and help if I wasnt trying There was a teacher that was awfully happy to confuse students and beat them at games and it seemed to give her, an adult a power trip over 10 year olds! She would always seemed so impressed with herself to be better then a child, it just seemed so odd I got ditched by all my friends and sat alone doing nothing for years, only once did a teacher try to help and all she did was try to push me onto another group of students to befriend When kids forgot their lunch all the staff would offer was buttered sandwiches (gross) In grade 1 I got private lessons in English because I was behind everyone else, which was extremely helpful and is probably the only reason I’m literate today but apparently they don’t do that kind of thing anymore A kid ran around with scissors, threatening and yelling at others. The kids took it upon themselves to stop him by piling on him so he couldn’t move, probably couldn’t breathe either. The teacher didn’t know how to handle it and got a teenage teachers assistant that was there on work experience to take the kid outside and talk to him, which of course resulted in no changes in behaviour from him and probably a stressful situation for the poor teen that would’ve had no idea what to do | | By Parent - 21 Jan 2021, Rate: excellent | i am so satisfacted.my english is poor, sorry :). thx for approving my user greetings wally | | By Student - 16 Dec 2020, Rate: good | Went to this school a few years back and can confidently say that it set me up for life beyond CWPS. A few absolute gems in the teaching staff truly do their best to make every kid feel special. Had a blast and opportunities to extend my skills in the extension maths classes too!! I’m appreciative of this school and their continued efforts to promote a positive and safe learning environment. | | >>More reviews... |
