The more my children blossom at Wyndham, the more I realise how truly awful Quakers Hill High was. If Wyndham was able to take on more years, so many students would have stayed in school. Wyndham is completely geared towards helping your child find their next step in life. They have amazing programs taught by teachers who are passionate about their subject. They can get your child into additional programs or help them spilt their day between normal classes and a TAFE course. Whatever your child wants to do, they will help them get there. Parents are not involved with the school at all which is honestly a nice change. If there is an issue, the school works it out with the student and helps them to find a solution that they’re happy with. The students are taught to speak for themselves and they are treated as equals by their teachers, which helps them to prepare for the real world. There are mufti days, amazing excursions, end of term events and incredible work experience opportunities. Every assignment is designed specifically to teach them something important, as opposed to being randomly pulled from the Internet like Quakers does. The only drawback is that the two years goes by incredibly quickly. They’ve just found their voices, their confidence and their next step and they’re suddenly out in the world. It may go quickly, but it’s the most important two years for your child and this school is the absolute best place they could be.
