There are not enough words to describe our experience. If you want your child to have an education and to actually develop into a beautiful and confident member of society, this is not the place.
The principal is a dictator with no idea, more focused on an advertising campaign. The teachers are ever changing, the small amount of good teachers go to waste due to terrible inconsistent practices, they leave mid term.
Go to a sporting event and you will see Rowville in it's form. Kids spitting, out of uniform, mounting each other, punching kicking and pulling each others hair.
For what is meant to be an elite sporting academy it is an absolute joke. My daughter has regressed so much so that she won't see friends or family outside of school. She is nothing like she was before. My daughter is intelligent but we can't see as academic report is generic. Communication is non existent. Handballed to everyone and no action.
Teenagers go through stages, but the language racial slurs, disability discrimination it is in bunches at RSA.
Keep your children away and safe from being exposed to this nightmare. I wish I had.

My son has been constantly bullied by students in way or another since entering RSC Western. He tries to speak up and is doing his best to get on with his school work, but is now not interested at all. He is anxious about going to school and letting the bullies into his head day in and day out. I email them all the time regarding this and then get a phone call saying it's all sorted out. Then the next day it's happening again. We were assured he and other students would get the help they needed for the transition from PS but no, it hasn't happened and he's falling behind term after term. No feedback from the teachers and the semester reports don't tell you anything. It is like they are generically generated.
I'm now looking at other schools and even home schooling if I need to. He is a good kid, but is being let down time and time again.

My son started year 7 elsewhere in 2022 and was not happy and we had many arguments about why he needs to attend school. We felt moving him to Roville SC sports academy would help him in terms of wanting to go to school. We made the best decision to move him. Year 8 in 2023 and he gets himself up in the morning and is happy to pack his soccer boots into his school bag and go to school. His first report was good in all subjects. His dream is to play soccer so he has a reason to get up and go to school.
Best move we have made. Highly recommended if your child is great at sport and loves sport. Kids are happier to learn the 'boring stuff" if they know they have a sport lesson everyday as they look forward to that alot. Happy kid, Happy parents
