Reviews | By Parent - 29 Nov 2017, Rate: excellent | I myself am a past student and seriously considered all other schools in the area before sending my children here but I am so very glad I did. All three of them have thrived. Sure some teachers connect more with them than others, but on the whole it's been brilliant. When I was a student it was really quite small but I think SFX do a brilliant job at handling such a large cohort. The opportunities for students at SFX are just amazing (so many more facilities and options than at other schools and the fees are quite reasonable). I feel quite fortunate to have my children here. | | By Student - 16 Apr 2016, Rate: average | (This review applies the the Beaconsfield and Berwick campus) The school has really great facilities and opportunities for students. There's also a lot of extra curriculum things available to participate in and many options to choose from when it comes to applying for your subjects which is so good. When it comes to the teachers there's really a wide variety when it comes to their ability to teach a student properly, although I would say there is a more average standard teachers than there are excellent. Sometimes they also can be rude and I have struggled with them, it's really not uncommon. honestly the teachers are better at Beaconsfield. Sport and music facilities are really good but they still harness getting help with studies. If you're looking for a school that is small simple and everyone knows each other like a big family then this school is not for you. Many of the students don't even know each other and struggle to mingle with others, even now the school is still expanding. | | By Parent - 04 Mar 2015, Rate: excellent | My son in year 8 is currently attending the Officer campus, he is making new friends, learning a lot in each subject, and is very impressed with school, I am also very impressed with this school. | |
