I’m in year 7 at the moment and the education is excellent. The Woodend campus facilities are great and inside is light, bright, open plan and ideal for learning. I consider myself a high achiever academically and think that Braemar suits my needs well. Whether it will continue to after year 10 i’m not sure.

I went to Braemar from years 7-12 and my overall experience was average. Some of the teachers were incredible and extremely hardworking and really deserved a lot more credit than they were given. The campus itself is so beautiful and some of the activities and opportunities you get are incredible. However, the negatives I experienced are sexism from certain teachers, lack of support for struggling students and lack of VCE subject variety. My friends and I have discussed countless times how Braemar didn't really do anything for us and we have learnt more in our 5 years out of high school then we did in it.
