Beautiful educators who truely care for the children and families but are let down by terrible operational management/owner. Educators are forced to work out of ratio between “certain times” (18 under 3’s with two educators) do not get paid on time, correctly or at all, are bitched about, constantly criticised and brought to tears and if anyone dares to speak up, question or advocate for their beliefs they are soon disposed of. The centre has ridiculous policies such as the arts policy, which deny’s children under 12mths to be creative (no messy play, paint or sensory), a no technology policy which again hinders the children’s ability to move into 21st century, the kinder rooms segregate children from the full program if they did not allocate the government’s funding to the centre (no excursions or individual obs) and the most horrific they discriminate against children with special needs (asking them to find another service) And although they have recently just gone through rating and assessment, I do not see how they achieved “exceeding” as no one knew where the QIP was let alone added to it, they even had the nerve to ask three families to stay home as they were running over their licensed capacity. This is the reason good educators are leaving the sector!!
