I attended Redlands College. The school is run on as a closed community system.
Members from the board to the reception staff, are all members of the same ideology.
Christ is used as a tool to control, influence and shame those who do not obey the hierarchy.
This school is a cult in many ways.
Their philosophy is one of home, community and Home control and beliefs are so fundamental, it has lead to the break down of families.
The school is only interested in academic success and will not have any issue with admonishing you, your children or your situation if it does not serve the end purpose.
Research well my friends.

This school is not Christian at all and your children will most likely be bullied by a child who's patents have more money than you and the school will not care. There are a lot of violent and aggressive children at this school, who's parents pay to keep them there, at the cost of innocent, decent children. They don't help children from middle class famies and the education is mediocre at best. Dont send a child there unless they will be attending from kindergarten onwards either. If you want your children to be in safe supportive environment and get a good education then don't send them to this school. A lot of children have also left in the last few years which should say volumes, well beyound individuals personal opinions.

Fantastic school with great teachers and an amazing principal. Our kids love it there, learn so much, and are so much the better for being in the delightful school community. Everybody matters at Redlands College ... from the youngest preppie to the cleaner and every student, parent, teacher and other staff member. This school is a big reason why we have chosen to keep living in the Brisbane area. To any interested parent, go along to an open day or arrange to meet the amazing principal, Mr Mark Bensley. You'll be pleased you did. The only trick will be securing an enrolment for your child - especially in Prep, as everyone else already knows how great this school is! Waiting lists can be long and unfortunately many people miss out. So enquire early and get on the waiting list as quickly as you can. No doubt the school will be able to give indications of specific wait time for your child in the year they need to start. There are some extra entry points / classes in both the Junior School (which is so welcoming and nurturing for the littlies) and Middle School (which is wonderfully tailored for those entering and adjusting to adolescence), so your child may just be lucky to get in. I only wish I had a school like this when I was growing up! But I'm so grateful my kids do ... and so are they! Thank you Mark Bensley and all the teachers and staff for providing such an amazing school for our children and families!
