MacGregor State School used to be a good school, but it is sadly in decline. There are some very good, lovely teachers there, but others are quite rude and arrogant and don't reply to parents' emails and concerns. Administration is also quite rude. The performing arts opportunities are of a very high standard, but the academics is ordinary. It would be good if the school could care more about the children and treat them as children, rather than expecting them to behave like mini adults. My child has luckily enjoyed the school, but as a parent I have not.
