Prince of Peace is a school that has almost no good features. The school is run by a horrible head of junior person who clearly hates children. The facilities are the worst I have ever seen at any school with the fees being one of the highest in Brisbane for primary school. The head of special needs is very inexperienced with almost no knowledge of individual needs. Some of the strategies used by staff are 101 basic things that they don’t get. Their classes have high numbers of students. Their OSHC is also poorly run and very uninviting. I am grateful I don’t have to use it as my children absolutely hated it when I trialled it. The communication from the school is also poor with most comms being incorrect, going to the wrong people or having issues (you can nearly always expect a follow up to clarify or fix the comms). They don’t have a tuckshop or uniform shop onsite anymore. Overall I am extremely disappointed with the school, staff, facilities but most importantly the head of departments and school. I really think they need to revisit what they do for a living as they clearly dislike their jobs and/or children.
