My son had his kindy and is now a year 1 student at Laburnum primary shcool. The education system here is terrible and extremely oudated. This is the only school that haven't even think about implementing apps or online portals to frequently communicate & update parents about the learnign progression. Instead, we've been told that our only option is to read their newsletter, ultilise the quarterly based parent teacher interviews, or read the term-end report/scorecard. It's furstrating to realise my son is falling behind at the end of the semester and never been informed prior. If you are a supportive parent and care about your kid's education, you should consider other schools. This school has the most overrated rating and it's just really fishy to see how bad the system and process whilst it's been rated so high.

not good, i went there, the school was ruined after 2017 when dr dray came, she took away all the fun things and enforced stronger harsher rules, she overun the school with teachers she knew and made sure it was her way or the highway, the classes got boring and everything we new about the school was changed, inlcuding the tmes of periods and the amount of periods, it wasnt fun and it was unenjoyable. We were also forced into activities and lessons with no other choice, they were very dismissive of students wellbeing and had a very hard time keeping kids engaged, it refelcted through behaviours and issues in the coming years, i wouldnt send my child there and i would hope they make new improvments soon, including moving dr day put of the school.
