Really happy with St Joe’s and the school has been wonderful for both my children.
I have a child that the school noticed needed some further assistance with reading and writing. They suggested their mini literature program, small groups and an hour, 4 days a week to support. Wow the confidence it has given my child is amazing and have seen an amazing transformation.
They tailor learning for advanced students and those that require further assistance. Also been impressed with the sport program, inter school sports and range of external excursions to learn about the world.

I would NOT send my child here. Principal is not approachable and very rude. Yes, arrogant too. Not sure how he is still there? Doing nothing to improve the school and the students education?Bullying is an issue and swept under the rug. Oh, theft is also an issue and swept under the rug. The explanation was that ‘some kids cannot afford to buy….’ Wow! So it’s appropriate for that child to steal? Assistant Principal, I don’t know what she does? In 2 years have read a couple of communications about painting her house whilst in lockdown. Oh yes, she is the well-being leader as well. Good to see she prioritised her well-being during lockdown instead of the students.

This school has a real community feel! The teachers are such a great group that help support the kids learn by the school values. Even I know most of them as a parent resilience, collaborate, think flexibly and there is another one...as my child comes home and tells me about how they have applied them.
The teachers are also a young, fun group that the kids not only learn from but have a good laugh at. They were one of the first schools to introduce Google classroom, 3 years ago. This I am certain has helped so much during this lock down as kids are used to completing and submitting home work online. Thanks St Joesphs as a parent could not be happier!
