Recently Mackillop has employed a new Vice Principle from the mainland. In her introduction to the community in the recent Mackillop newsletter she poses with her glass of wine. I question if she and this image is an appropriate role model for the students????? Come On Mackillop, when you require such good manners/behaviour from your students, ensure the adults whom are responsible for our children and enforce these rules are capable of modelling these good behaviours themselves.Get your act together and practice what you preach.

This school expels students for minor behavioural issues. No support no resources just socially excludes children and shames them. Heartless, uncaring, unnurturing and human right violators. Where is your compassion and inclusivenees of humanity. Shame on you. You continue to violate childrens rights.

I agree wholeheartedly with the above comment. Bullying is rife. Principal does not deal with it and is unapproachable. Students get away with everything including assault.
