The village’s design was a collaboration of architecture by Denton Corker Marshall, interior design by Carr Design Group and landscaping by Tract.
Communal features include a pool and gymnasium and village greens and gardens. The site will also have some shops and cafes.
Orrong Reserve is directly opposite the site which also adjoins its namesake of Toorak Park.
Eight kilometres from the CBD, the development sits next to Toorak train station. Residents have access nearby to trams on Malvern Road, High Street and Toorak Road. The Monash Freeway is a five-minute drive away.
A pedestrian footbridge over the railway lines connects Toorak Park to the Beatty Avenue shopping strip. The antique stores, fashion boutiques and cafes of High Street are within walking distance.
The project is close to some of Melbourne’s sought-after schools including Lauriston Girls’ School, Loretto Mandeville Hall, King David School and Armadale Primary School.
