User Review | 19 May 2014 | Love this Area with unlimited life style and quality school. Really want to live here, but house are unaffordable and I'm planning to buy a apartment in Doncaster Hill | | 11 Mar 2015 | I moved to Doncaster from Kew almost 10 years ago and Doncaster was the BEST real-estate decision I've ever made!!! Property prices have more than tripled in this fabulous town. Leafy, expansive, excellent schools and shopping/professional facilities ... you name it, Doncaster has it all ... Unbelievable and breathtaking views from the top of Doncaster Hill, too. The best pocket to live in is off High Street, West Doncaster, either left or to the right of High Street ... you can't go wrong!!!
| | By Jennifer Natal - 11 Mar 2015 | Doncaster is, in my opinion, the best inner Eastern suburb in Melbourne. So central to the city and trendy cafe cultures nearby. Excellent professional and medical suites, shopping, plazas and boutiques, cafes, restaurants, parks, gardens and cycling tracks. Very affluent municipal council and wonderful people of many cultures love to live here. It's Melbourne's best-kept secret but now the secret has spread and no longer is housing affordable!! Houses for less than one million dollars is impossible to find. Those who missed \"the boat\" are now forced to buy trendy apartments on Doncaster Hill or look further East. I wish I acted earlier!!! | | By Miles - 31 Jul 2015 | Doncaster, especially West Doncaster , really has everything you could need. Plenty of restaurants on High St (and now some baristas), Macedon square is a great little spot for cafes and supermarket shopping and opposite is a large and well equipped medical centre. The buses are actually quite brilliant! with bus lanes and the improved timetable, they are faster than a tram could be and less fuss than a train. The folk are friendly, my street is lined with oaks, a serene view from my balcony. some great schools (Biralee, Koonung). Westfield is 5 mins away. Lots of parks and walks (Koonung trail). From time to time Ive considered moving and always come back to the fact that i have everything need right where i am. my only gripes.. getting to the airport is a pain, and there is a LOT of development going on. | | By Mark - 23 Sep 2015 | Doncaster is the beautiful suburb I ever live in | | |
