Great Room for rent in large terrace house, charming location
We have a large bedroom for rent in our big and friendly share house in East Redfern. Our house is a huge and classic style 3 bdrm terrace in a gorgeous maple tree lined street with a leafy outlook, in the middle of the Surry Hills lifestyle.
The house is quaint and the available room is upstairs, with lovely dual French doors opening onto a spacious classic wrought iron balcony. Being the largest room in the house it would suit a couple but good for singles who like space.
Our street is only a block away from all the excitement which Crown Street has to offer. Central yet quiet, settled and homely, we are within very close proximity to Surry Hills Shopping Village which has all your amenities, the colourful restaurants and cafes, pubs and nightlife, parks and events, public transport and Central Station, universities - you name it. Only 20 minutes’ walk to the City, and the CBD buses run close by.
Our house has a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, big screen plasma telly with Foxtel (all channels – oh yeah!), wireless ADSL2 (also cool!), 1.5 bathrooms and a third outside. We have a large courtyard which is great for barbeques and a bit of entertaining, an internal laundry and garden shed for storage.
We are 2 young professionals in our late twenties (male and female) who enjoy a fun work/life balance; we hit the town some weekends and love our quiet nights in during the week with cooking, hitting gym etc. If you are also professional, friendly, reasonably tidy and easy-going we would love to hear from you (but no short terms please!)
The room has some furniture (no bed sorry) but can come unfurnished if you prefer, and rent is $350 per week (plus bills).
