With a focus on eco-tourism, well-bring and providing a working example of sustainable eco living, Hummingbird Retreat offers 14 rooms of unique accommodation that have been thoughtfully retro-fitted by The Sustainable Stylist Kim Kneipp to possess the simplicity of nature without any compromise in comfort, communal living rooms, three large conference rooms with break out areas, reception, a well-being centre with three treatment rooms and parking for 22 cars.
The Harvest Garden Restaurant, winner of the 2016 Mornington Peninsula Best Bites Award, features one of the largest kitchen gardens in Victoria and follows organic biodynamic principles with extensive vegetable gardens and 200 fruit trees. The intimate restaurant seats 32 and is acclaimed for its innovative menu, passionate chefs and farm table feasts set out in nature.
Set on 4.4 acres of established gardens filled with towering Manna Gums, the tranquil property is bordered on three sides by 72 acres of National Trust bushland. Hummingbird offers nature walks through The Endeavour fern gully, yoga, meditation, massage and naturopathic appointments.
