House Owners Statement:
My wife and I purchased our home in January 1993 and we have been very happy living here for the past 19 years. The location is perfect in a quiet street. It is a short walk to the train, restaurants and shops. A nice park is nearby but a highlight is the short walk to the paths along the Yarra River where we had evening walks and rode our bikes. The house is close to the freeway entrance but far enough away to have no noise. We are only minutes from the city. We renovated the house over the period 1993-1994 but retained the Victorian charm which we loved. This was a substantial renovation which meant re-plastering all of the rooms in the house and adding a grand living room and kitchen with two additional bathrooms. We added a wonderful rear pergola for BBQs and entertaining. My wife and I intended that this would be our dream home and to end our days here. Sadly my wife passed away recently and the house is now too big for me and I will relocate to a smaller apartment. There is rear access to the property with a big yard which will provide ample car parking space or spaces.
We have very good relations with all of the neighbours. I am sorry to be selling after so many wonderful memories in the home but life is a journey and it is time to move. I am sure that anyone who purchases this home will...
