Would you like to live rent-free close to shops and public transport, while at the same time making a real difference in the lives of young people at risk of homelessness?
Lead Tenants support young people in a share-house environment.
As a Lead Tenant you will continue with your everyday life, modelling mature living skills through activities such as cooking and grocery shopping. You’ll guide household members around share-house responsibilities by overseeing the day-to-day running of the household.
All young people living in the house are supported by caseworkers and 24hr support is available.
Selection Criteria
1. Demonstrates mature and independent living skills including being involved in studies or employment
2. Ability to have a positive impact on young people
3. Flexible, resourceful, sociable, responsible
4. Will actively participate in the household
5. 12 months minimum commitment
