Originally the brick section of this building, that still stands strong today, was the first Catholic Church from 1873 to 1909, and then became the first catholic school in Omeo from 1909 until 1922. In the early 1930's it was purchased by the local CWA and has been in ownership ever since, with its most recent use as a day care centre.
