I went to this school 8 years ago from year 2 - year 7. A few the teachers were horrible people, outing children for wrong answer, embarrassing them for personal things. Mrs Evens, Mr Eams, Mrs Barnes were a few of the worse. Really hope they have started treating kids better

Some teachers are really nice and good, but a-lot of them are rude, even to the students who do nothing wrong. Apparently we are unique students with different talents and unique identities, we are not allowed to express ourselves at all. They make us all look the same and treat us like a rich private school. If you dare make your hair look different other then their standards then you have a detention. I appreciate the teachers that are nice however.

Rochedale is actually a very good school. Yes, they are strict about uniform and presentation, but it's only the people who break the rules who complain about them. You won't find a better school in the region for opportunties.

things children at this school get suspended for: - piercings -body hair (face) -hair colour -phone usage -teacher backchat -incorrect uniform

It's a good school. If u need help the teachers will help u in any way of your ability.

As a student attending this PUBLIC school, I believe the rules set for this school are very stupid. They are trying too hard to be like private schools which in fact aren't even that strict. Rochedale State High School ONLY care about uniform, if your uniform is incorrect you are sent home immediately. I don't know about you but I didn't know what you wore even determined your education outcome. Please take your children to a school where education is the top priority. Take this advice as a former student, do not send your child here unless you want them to get low grades and criticised on what they wear everyday!
