This school is a horrible school and i am very disappointed, first most of the teachers are very rude and dont do a good job at teaching and only care about getting paid by sitting on ass scrolling through instagram. Something that i have noticed at this school is the students are becoming more aggressive and racist toward eachother this is the 3rd fight this week between year 7s and year 9s and 10s and the teachers just say to "go away" break up the fight and give a pat on the back and walk away wether someone has been hurt or not, bullying is also an issue and teachers dont do anything only so they can give out 2 min. Detentions that dont solve the bullying issue. Finally, they are too strict with uniform rules that are outdated from the 1960s,they give you detentions if you wear summer uniform or winter uniorm in certain months no matter the weather they will let students suffer in hot or cold climates because they want to look good when it only embarrasses them more on school tours and online, its even more embarrassing because they wont even let you wear lip balm and will let you suffer with cracked lips, uncomfortably tiny change room, and listed above. Please take this review into consideration if you are a parent or child and thinking about coming here.

the school policies at this school are just straight up stereotypical and still set back in the 60s when it was established, not being able to wear acrylic nails let alone plain nail polish on our nails? during class they come and give us uniform checks, a lady comes in fully decked out in whatever the fuck they want to wear and tells all the girls to put their hands up and will take us to the office to wash the nail polish off and give us a warning/detention while literally wearing nails??? let alone we can only have 1 ear piercing and it has to have a clear stud in it?? and also we are forbidden to wear jewellery and if its cultural they may allow it? us students have to watch the teachers come into school wearing a bunch of jewellery with whatever piercings they want and whatever nails they want while we cant even have our nails painted. they blame this on saying we're role models for the school but im pretty sure the teachers are the bigger role models in this situation. Like i said these policies are just straight up stereotypical, u state the school supports individuality because ive seen posters around the school of it yet u literally dont allow us to be ourselves??? make it make sense and even if parents/ teachers did care about how the children look who actually gaf, grow up and change ur state of minds cus its just sad u take the colour, individuality and happiness out of students.

im still currently attending school and its honestly disgusting, during cold and hot days at this school when its snack/lunch, we are forced to stay outside until the bell goes. The precious teachers get to sit inside with either the cooler or heater on while the students cant even walk down the hallway? u guys all lack common sense.

Worst school ever teachers are very rude and only care about giving dententions for the littlest things like who gives a fuck if someone wore the wrong thing its fine when kids are getting beat up at lunch very disappointing, hire better teachers and learn how to control someone eleses kid fucking dickhead teachers get fired

Hello, to the student that was scared to attend the school this year did you end up going to the school? How did it go for you? I have a few family members who's kids have attended and graduated and still have other children at the school. They really enjoy being there and parents speak highly of the school. Hope it's gone well for you

This school is absolutely disgusting. My son was a straight up 90s student, he achieved goals no teacher could ever obtain meanwhile you teacher assistants lower his curiosity to the ground along side his peers. Teacher assistants (crt) should really stop influencing the kids spreading around the negativity, just because you weren't married and was used as an object doesnt mean the children are. I will drag crt 1 to the ground if she EVER dare put my son in a shameful situation. like you're a teacher assistant which is embarrassing the average coles janitor earns more sloppy beach.

this school is outrageous, the teachers lead no career and dont care about the students. not to mention, ms amy lord is the nastiest skank bitch ive ever met. do not trust her. she is a fugly slut.

this school does not allow children to wear flip flops. What if children arent comfortable wearing something that covers their precious toes? it may stink like vinegar and sweat, but this is unacceptable.

This is a terrible school tbh….. they give you detention for no reason like uniforms ur nails and more stuff. A lot of fights happen and a lot of inappropriate young kids. This school is disgusting

This is the worst school that I can ever imagine. Teachers are not supportive to children. They give detention to children about nothing sometimes. And as a parent detention it is a big word and when you hear your heart stops. Detention for not have proper uniform, detention for use mob phone.....
school teachers are not responsive to any emails that me as a parent send. Teachers are not encouraging positive behaviour and they don’t do anything about children being bullied by other children. Children not sign in as present at school, parents need to chaise to find out about our child. Incident are not reported to parents and teachers talk bad about other children in front of others. I’ve been asking for answers but still waiting on......
Teachers are not professional and not trained enough to deal with children high school age.

Don't know what happened in the last couple of yrs but the school has gone downhill. The school needs to stop worrying about petty things, like giving students detention if a student gave another student a hug or have coloured nails and worry more about the bullying that goes on at the school, not to mention this happens right infront of the teachers including the classroom, there are no consequences for this behaviour. Absolutely disgusting.

I was a student from 93-99,had good and bad
Experiences like any student in high school.
All I really wanted to say is i Really hope
The staff especially the staff are now more
Attentive to students needs especially when
Encounters with bullying!!,I actually completed
My vce at a different school due to staff
Taking absolutely no action at all!!

I'm in year 7 at lalor sc and it is a good school because not only do you review on some of the subjects you learn some new stuff. I have an older brother in year 11 and he is doing exams right now. I've seen him improve over the years. I still remember when he was in year 7 and I was in prep and I said wow your in high school and now I say wow your almost in university. I would like to thank lalor sc for a great year ( my math teacher gives out to much homework 'cough cough' Miss. Ho haha)

Went to this school last year, and now I'm in La Trobe University. I had a few drama's with a couple of teachers, but other than that, the school was quite outstanding and I learnt much during my 6 years.
