Kambrya College is an amazing school. I have a child who has graduated an another in year 9. The staff is amazing especially the reception staff. They are very welcoming. The wellbeing staff is one of the best I have ever seen. I strongly recommend this school.

KAMBRYA COLLEGE falls as the 3rd school in our current zone. I liked the school & chose to put an application for both my boys who r still studying in St Francis Xavier Berwick Campus. Life has became expensive & I'm a single parent. I thought long & hard about changing my 2 boys school as I'm struggling financially on a single income. I chose KAMBRYA college because I've always admired the school since I'm enrolled to study my nursing degree in Federation University Berwick it'll make life easier because the distance isn't far. I walked into the school excited about handing the applications. The receptionist debated me about being out of the zone and what not and mind you I did let her know that I know we r on the 3rd zone but I'd really love for my kids to attend KAMBRYA college. She didn't seem to wanted take my applications but she did anyways. Minutes later a lady from the back office approached me with some attitude & appeared unfriendly & unwelcoming. She explained to me that my kids won't be expected into the school due to being outside of the zone etc. I tried explaining that I am choosing KAMBRYA college because I feel that it's the right school for my boys. She continued to tell me that it won't be expected. She then said that the principle will have the final outcome, I replied no problems. I even told her that I'm more than happy to write to the principle why I want my boys to continue their education in KAMBRYA college. I left the school feeling disappointed & unwelcome. The managements r rude & unfriendly. I decided not to continue with the process as I feel that my children would be treated poorly if they ended up their. I get that the department of education has policy regarding the zone & that but it also states that anyone from whatever zone can still apply & it'll be up to the capacity which means there is still a chance of any students coming from different zone being accepted into KAMBRYA college.

This school is unhygienic, they don't provide sanitary items for women nor soap which is a general hygiene practice.

Do not accept the negative reviews written here as factual - the school is large and therefore has it fair share of problem students and parents who would winge about any school which actually attempted to guide the student along a productive educational path. These problem students are not ignored but interventions only work with parental support and student willingness to alter negative behaviour. The dedicated staff are supportive of students and each other. Disruptive and challenging students are not the product of a school and should not define a school. Students are not bullied by teachers - they are diverted and disciplined appropriately when their behaviour interferes with the education of others - they just don’t like that they cannot waste class time or try to high-jack the learning time for their own agenda. The school has an appropriate inclusive policy - embrace it - that’s the new norm in society. To the parent who claims to have videos - I hope the person who took this was not a student and/or had permission to video others in class, as the vic government has a no phone rule in classes and it is illegal to video others in a class without their permission.
I have worked in this school and others and found it to be a school I would happily work in - can’t say that for all the schools I’ve been in.

this school teaches students to embrace into the gay community, I thought schools were for teaching math's, English, etc. not this garbage that makes a child become something they shouldn't. the pride community was probably made by a fat guy who lives in his mum's basement. do not send your kids to this school!

Over crowded and the so called zero bully policy doesn't seem to be on this schools agenda !
So dissapointed , next year finally we are taking our teenager out of this school!
The teachers not only let the children go wild in classrooms I have videos of what they consider allowed in their classrooms , children swearing etc it's beyond bad .
On a number of occasions over the past 2 years there has been threads made of harming my child and her friend from a student and what have they done about it ??? Zip all !
Not good enough for a school that should know and do better !
Not recommended put your child in another school .

my kids were on an excursion on the day of the exams and missed them, I've called the principal to see if they could redo the exam but have not heard from him, this school has been supported with 19.1 million dollars and all the students get are plastic ping pong tables he only cares about money and portables, he does not care for his students, do not send your kids to this school!

teachers are threatening to send students home because of there uniform even though its winter, this disrupts parents work and is pointless.

I'm a year 11 student and rate this school average because the teachers are understanding of my needs and the wellbeing team is amazing. However, as another student has said in these reviews, the teachers don't do much to stop kids from doing the wrong thing in class. This includes, fights/arguments, looking at the wrong things, etc. I would also like to point out that an employee (someone who works at this school) has said that kids do drugs in the bathrooms. I have seen kids vaping in the yard and the teachers don't seem to care unless there is someone touring the school. The homework in VCE is WAY too much and I had to move from VCE to VCAL because of the homework and classwork load. Now that I am in VCAL the workload is much better but they expect everyone to get all the work done by the end of the week (when we are only at school 3 out of 5 days).

This school is good but teachers don't do much when there are fights occurring or if the students are not listening to class rules. This school needs a lot to work on so I recommend you not to send your kids to this school.

i am disappointed by the fact that the school does not smell like beans. i am a big fan of heinz baked beans and it does not get the recognition it deserves. simply disappointing, and i shall be moving to another school which appreciates baked beans more.

The Principal Keith Perry does not take phone calls,respond to email or willing to meet face to face to discuss our queries and issues.
The school enrolment officer is disrespectful demanding parents to accept the electives they provide without allowing the students or parents to have a choice or select it.
The young population do not have a value to the school due to smoking being allowed in the school premises.So everyone please check and double think before sending your child to this school.

I don’t know who the fool was that wrote the previous review but as a parent of one child who successfully completed Year 12 and is now in Uni and another child attending at the moment I just want to say that the staff at Kambrya are exceptional and do the best they can to help ...obviously your child has to want to do the work and give it fair go
I believe that the principal teachers and staff do the best they can and beyond

I love the school, it is so much better than I thought. I went to the school not knowing how to write in English now I can say that I have improved so much and the teachers are very encouraging, polite and understanding.

do not, i repeat do not send your children to kambrya secondary college! students are physically beaten by fellow students in one on one or group altercations as well as verbally assaulted by teachers who are then disqualified from teaching at the college. a very bad learning environment for students as the homework/home learning level is beyond the student's capabilities, children smoke and do drugs within the school bathrooms etc.
