| this school is shit im in yr 8 and everybody here sucks. like who cares if I'm wearing sport uniform when I don't have sport that day or a hoodie cause its cold??? like they care more about how u look than actually teaching u. |

| please don't go to Gleneagles. it will turn your life around and make u suicidal. This one girl there bashes everyone and she even made blood come out of the head. The teachers litterley, do nothing about it then just pull them away and they leave but it will happen the next day and the teachers do nothing. Please save yourself because u will get bullied easily and everyone has there way to judge you. People skip school and the teachers don't care as well as the education is poor and barley any learning happens. The school next to Gleneagles is better Maranatha great policy and better learning, NO FIGHTS and great way to easily make friends no one judges you either at Maranatha. |

| tries too hard to perfect how the school looks who cares if someone wears sport uniform instead of normal uniform or if they have a nike tick on their socks that doesnt affect our learning, you caring about what we look like more than our education is what affects our learning |

This school is great no fights, no teachers that abuse you, everyone is really nice. Everyone says it's bad but with a new principal it is better and the old review were a long time ago in 2022 it couldn't be better.

| So I used to be a relief teacher, I've taught here and at most of the other schools in the area... plus a bunch more in other districts. This is a good school. The one I enjoyed teaching at most, it had a good multicultural mix and though as a teacher you always need to be on your toes, completely unmanageable classes were rare. |

| Beware of entrusting your kids to this school. Several *colonial era* teachers with serious power issues taking it out on the students. They see value in uniforms but have no concept of what education is and the Head has no interest in turning the school around. The ministry ought to order an audit into how this school operates - it is that bad. |

| okay gleneagles is just average there are some teachers that are pretty good but the majority of them are pretty crap and explain the material we need to learn so vaguely. Personally I feel like I use to love learning and building up my knowledge but this school has completely ruined it i honstly think I’ve horrendous dumbe run the past couple of years. Everyone is judgy, people get picked on and bullied if they’re different in any certain way and it’s pretty difficult to make friends if you don’t know anyone. Oh and everyone talks behind people’s backs you can’t do anything without feeling bad about yourself. Overall there are some pretty good teachers that are funny and you can get along with and teach really well but that’s just a small percentage. The students really ruin the school experience and make you feel like absolute shit. I almost forgot about how stupid the uniform policy is, most teachers only care about your uniform, if you wear the wrong socks you automatically get a detention. The school is trying to put on a facade as a private school when they really should be focusing on the education they provide for students. If you join the SEAL system than you’re really lucky, you’ll learn way more and will actually be challenged. Other than that the schools really not that good. |

| Amazing school my daughter loves it and she knew no one fro m there. She loves the teachers and students. Homework is sometimes stressful but always help for that by teachers and councilors. All in all Gleneagles is great!!! |

so true of the above negative comments from the students....
though there are a small hidden amount of gems of teachers.
majority do not look at the whole student learning or recognise the multiple inteligences in students from Howard Gardiner's learning theory...maybe the need to go back a re read how students learn..... and foster a love for learning in ALL students, as education is life long not just six years of high school. |

| This school is terrible. There's fights nearly everyday. Children use bad language often and lessons in classes are all done in power points, vague explanations and the information goes through one ear and goes out the other. And they wonder why their students get low marks in tests. + Teachers expect way more than what the student can offer or do to the best of their ability. Its never enough for them. Never enough to satisfy. I'm sick of this school already and I only moved here recently . |
