Many of the teachers bias toward specific students, is absolutely horrible. My child has been bullied by students as well as teachers, a majority of the time teachers will tell students off for the most stupid reasons, things like going to the bathroom too many times, as if my child can control their bladder?! There are only probably a few okay teachers but even then you could find better at a PUBLIC school. It is a huge waste of money and you could definitely find better someplace else. This school couldn't care less about the students only about their outside appearance. My kid transferred from a public school with a somewhat bad appearance, but that school was much better! They don't prepare you enough for tests, assignments, and exams. All the teachers are very ignorant. You will only do good in this school if you are South African, if not then good luck save your money, and go find someplace better.

i mean the education is good and there are some really good teachers but the FAVOURITISM FROM THE SOUTH AFRICAN TEACHERS TO THE SOUTH AFRICAN STUDENTS..... there have even been occasions on which the south african teachers talk to the south african students in afrikaans, excluding the non south african students in the room. but apart from that, there are very nice teachers who do care about the students and like i said the teaching is of pretty high quality.

Don’t waste your time in the highschool, primary school was good but the highschool is a waste of time and money. If your not a South African then you have no hope, being declined help and your feelings not being considered. The school does absolutely nothing about bullying until it gets too far, with often the bullies being the student councillors or leaders. Far far from a Christian education. Teachers themselves are rude stating “ if your parents paid more money per year then I could have better equipment” this is unnecessary when we pay thousands each year. The children are not properly prepared for tests, being told it’s on a certain topic and it being on something different. The teachers humiliate the kids in front of everyone if they are no good, my child’s art work was thrown in the bin by the teacher infront of the whole class as “her five year old cousin could have done better”. Unfortunately the school cares more about how they look then their students so if you want to go to a school that looks great from the outside then kingsway is for you

Honestly this i the worst school, dont send your kids here. the staff are bias, and they cannot teach properly. They also don't prepare you for test that well and lots of people that I've known have failed many tests. Also the schools don't share christian values and just want money. The only good teachers are Mr herley, Calley and Mr Elliot because they are very suypportive and they prepare you for tests no matter what.

Inadequate preparation for tests, humiliation by teachers, entrenched favoritism
My child has attended for many years and sadly it's not that easy to leave. Only a select few favourites are chosen as student leaders (secondary and primary), many of whom are not kind-hearted kids, and they know they are part of the "in" group. My child has defended students from bullying, but does not get noticed for it. The secondary teachers so far have been extremely poor. On HASS and Science they do not prepare students adequately for tests and are not clear enough about what will be tested on, so many hours have been wasted studying the wrong chapters. The English teachers follow the formula and are extremely subjective in their marking. Some don't even have English as a first language. Some teachers reprimand students for wanting to go to the toilet, even girls, which is deplorable in secondary. Some teachers will not think twice about humiliating students in secondary. To be shouted at and made to cry by a teacher - this is not kind and should not be happening in a Christian school.

Trash school! Its very biased. I would say that 70 % of the teachers and students are South African. Most teachers aren't helpful and it is too expensive for the trashy service that is provided. don't recommend KCC at all. Never go there. :(

I rate this school as EVIL,,,all about money...
They are Not of God and definitely not based on Jesus ...Its a pumping business interested in your $$$$ only and not your children’s best interest..,

A hopeless school that can't even communicate politely with parents making enquiries about the school over the phone. The school should be shameful to be called a Christian school. I won't even bother to consider sending my child to this school.

As a student of 9 years... i love the school. Yes, the English teachers aren’t even true Aussies but they understand English very well and is a first language. Math, got some of the best teachers, would be so lost without them, science... amazing, especially miss loermans. Sport? Great. Hass, good! Love 80% of the teachers. From a student of 9 years... worth it

Dodgy as can be...
My daughter came home one day (in year 9 at the time) and told me that her English teacher at K.C.C. (who was Chinese and English was her second language ) in an attempt to teach about 'sayings' etc. wrote on the board : 'The survival of the foetus' instead of 'The survival of the fittest'... when the class pupils pointed this out to this so called 'English teacher' , her response was : ' oh well, I'm sure there is such a thing as ' the survival of the foetus'...
.Yes, and there is such a thing as legitimate qualifications to teach too but hey...it's KCC & if it means saving $$$ by hiring 'teachers' that nobody else wants and are of low quality standards then that's what your children will get...and you will be charged top dollar for it to boot...

In hindsight...I would not send my children there if it was for free , not even if KCC paid me...it is truly that bad...Low quality teachers...low quality standards...fake Christianity ...nothing more and so much less
I would NEVER RECOMMEND this school.
This is an opinion of a long term parent who suffered the insufferable at KCC...and is still affected by the side-effects of my 3 children attending there .
Never in my life have I experienced such plastic humanless lot...with exception of one Mr. Garfield Thomas (long left or booted out ???) who was genuine and most kind , Mrs Williams (Alyse's mum) and few other kind teachers who never stayed for long at KCC for some reason (???)...the rest of the staff hired are either :
Foreigners, teaches just came out of their training ( beginners) or former KCC students that did teaching like Mr. Elliott etc.
Hiring of their teachers does not seem to be based on quality but rather on saving $$$.
...ie. not saving you your $$$...saving their (KCC) $$$....Keep away from this mob...not of God and no blessings there .

Don't send your children to KCC
Not a good school
They are only in it for the money ; don't expect any Jesus examples there
Snobbery standard to the maximum
Poor example of Christianity
Fake forced pretence of spirituality
Too rigidly religious lacking compassion
Money now ask questions later
Rip-off all the way !!!
Stay away from this mob , they will ruin your lives and ruin the lives of your children !
If only I knew what I know now and in light of all the negative experiences I have endured during all the years at KCC I would run for my life and for my children's lives!!!
Final advise from a long time , long suffering parent who's been there, done that and got the T-shirt :
Run as far away fro KCC as you can!
Save your selves and save your kids and save your money !!!

This comes from a widowed mum who is crying to God for her 'lost' children .
My children have been alienated from me.
K.C.C. supported this alienation to suit their own agendas...
The so called 'chaplain' Mrs. Debra Kirby---a Rattle snake of the most poisonous type...
Mr.Burton---no courage to stand up for what is right...hiding in his own shadow...gutless to speak up about obvious injustice...
Business Services Ladies---stuck-up with no compassion...
Mrs. Liz Roberts---if you are what Christianity stands for then God help this world not just K.C.C.
I am most disappointed with KCC and would NOT EVER recommend this school to anyone.
In hindsight : HOW I WISH I REMOVED MY CHILDREN FROM KCC in 2005 WHEN I HAD AN OPORTUNITY TO PART COMPANY WITH KCC WHEN MY HUSBAND DIED AND I BECAME A SOLO PARENT.
I STAYED IN HOPE OF SUPPORT AND TO AVOID FIRTHER TRAUMATISING MY CHILDREN BY CHANGING SCHOOLS AFTER LOSING THEIR FATHER.
HOW WRONG I WAS .
END RESULT :
MY CHILDREN JOINED AN OCCULT TYPE 'CHURCH' INTRODUCED TO THEM VIA KCC
AND HAVE BECOME SO BRAIN-WASHED BY THIS CULT STYLE 'CHURCH' THAT THEY HAVE ESTRANGED AND ALIENTATED THEMSELVES FROM ME WITH KCC's FULL AWARENESS AND TO AN EXTEND KCC EVEN AIDED THIS FOR THEIR OWN SELF-INTEREST AND SELF-GAIN.($$$ & because my youngest daughter was a straight 'A' student which suited KCC's statistics for furthering their advertising traps)
Did my daughter achieved such high grades because I was such a bad mother or a negligent mother who deserves to be 'ditched in the gutter now' ? Seems odd .
Even you Mr. Burton (head principal of KCC) agreed that it did not make sense when I put this to you .
You agreed with me but you did nothing about it.
Inactive Christianity Mr. Burton ???
MY QUESTION :
HOW IS IT EVER A CHRISTIAN THING TO DO TO BREAK UP A FAMILY AND TO HELP ESTRANGE CHILDREN FROM THEIR OWN MUM ? IS THAT WHAT JESUS WOULD DO ?
I AM JUST A MUM I LOVE MY CHILDREN AND MISS THEM TERRIBLY !!!

I am a solo mum who has had 3 children attending KCC over the last 20 years or so.
I totally without a single doubt REGRET sending my children to KCC especially after my husband died in 2005 when I became a solo Mum to an 8 &10 year old attending KCC at the time.
The staff and many different Principals throughout the years at KCC completely FAILED to support us and acted in their own best interest at all times and not in my children's and mine.
I struggled with payments via Centrlink assistance as a result of bad-side-effects of losing a husband & my children's father in unexpected tragic circumstances .
I was treated like a 2nd. class citizen by the Business Services staff at KCC & still have a recording of a staff member there leaving a message to me on my phone in a 'slow learner' monotone. All because I had to go on Supporting Mother's benefits till my husband's Probate went through which was complex therefore it took a long time.
There is nothing Christian about the ladies in Business Services and nothing Christian especially the chaplain Mrs.Debra Kirby...she is not a nice person and she is so two faced all the way.
My neighbours who do not go to church and do not consider themselves Christians showed more compassion and kindness to us than KCC ever did.
Furthermore , when my children became involved with an occult type of group theough Youth Programme the school failed to act and protect them.
In fact a teacher from that 'occult' worked at KCC so there is infiltration.
Forward to today... : my children are estranged from me totally.
They are so brain-washed by this mob , the occult type church with Military style precision and certainly the Pastor of it has self admitted that he was in ex South Africa Millitary Brain Washing Department before migrating to Australia where he started this so called 'church' --with no qualifications or previous experience .
Any 3,people can start a church....Such is our Government that allowed this.
My children are being isolated and exploited in this Pyramid-selling type 'church' by the ones who run the 'show' there.
I am not allowed to see my children and no contact with them.
My youngest daughter called in for 10 minutes last Christmas, took her present (which was $$$) and then said she had to go. They were waiting in a car for her around the corner.
No Christmas dinner, no Christmas cheer, not even a kind word....
As a result I am dying of a 'broken heart' on daily basis...I love my children...I miss them...They are my children...from God...I am their Mum ... but that means nothing to these monsters to break up a family...for their greediness. ...and their own gain.
A God given family that is created by God Himself is sacred...scattered and broken...by them.
How is what this 'church' is doing Christian ? Is that what Jesus would do ? Break up a family ? I think not.
So ...Thanks a lot KCC. (not)
How I wish now that I sent my children to a Government Public School....
in hindsight I wish I followed my instinct & removed them from KCC in 2005.
We were so vulnerable and I was concerned about how much my children were affected by already suffering their dad's death thus I was reluctant to change their school even though it was a struggle to stay at KCC at the time financially, emotionally, the distance travelled , catching buses to school etc.and no help from the staff unless it was financially beneficial to the school.
From a widowed grieving mother who has 'lost' her children as a direct involvement with KCC
I put it to you that shame on you KCC for your lack of support and for your coldness and for your lack of compassion.
All the various Principals from May 2005 to 2014 ( you know who you are) the so called chaplain ...with exception of Mr. Garfield Thomas who was so kind and helpful but has long left KCC and a few kind teachers there at the time, who also never stayed long at KCC ...to all the rest of you : Shame on you all ...!

KCC is just another business and there is nothing Christian about them.
In my long term as a Mum of 3 children who attended KCC over 20 years I can honestly state that in my opinion and my experience KCC is NOT of God .
