Beware of the ooshc. Very young unqualified staff. Poor program during term time. Just in a bare hall. Director rarely on floor. Hardly any toys.

A lot of children with behaviour problems that aren't dealt with. Other children are often hit or attacked, no protection. Seemingly no punishment other than being sent to the office to play instead of work. The troubled students often just wandering around the school not in class. Teachers don't seem to be supported with these children or the children with disabilities.

No good for boys class sizes are too big, team teaching , poor results.

It was okay but this school was is meant to be based on education when I went here it was mostly about prayer and Christian stuff. It's okay I guess but they seriously need to change the way they teach.

The teachers work hard and are dedicated. Sometimes we need to look at how we can help our children become more responsible for their actions and become more independent learners. At times I struggle with this, but the teachers have been great at guiding me. I think that the educational standards are great and the teachers work hard with a crowded curriculum. At times we can all be too judgemental of others.

Education standard is below par when compared with other similar schools. Bullying is a serious issue not dealt with. We are finding it rather disturbing that several of our children's classmates will not be returning in 2013 due to the substantial bullying they have experienced and lack of expected education standard achieved. The principal has no desire to get involved, take charge & show leadership. He is only too ready to fob us off on to teachers when it's his responsibility. Some of the teachers are fantastic but others perhaps need to move to another school.

Staff are here for the children and their families. The children always come first. We seek to journey with students as they discover their strengths and develop them further whilst identifying areas of challenge and working in partnership with parents to improve them.
Teachers implement contemporary methodologies - we are steeped in tradition but do not teach in a traditional manner. In fact we aim to be different, creative and especially like to offer a wide range of experiences in the expressive arts.
The legacy of the Dominican sisters who founded our school is alive and well. We apply the messages of Jesus in our daily lives as we search for truth.

Semaphore is an absolute fantastic school. For example their sporting we had 9 girls selected for sapsasa netball, 3 girls selected for sapsasa soccor, 5 boy selected for sapsasa football. A girl in year 5 came 2nd in cross country. A girl in year 6 received a gold medal in breastroke. Now to our Music 90% of our students play a musical instrument. We have 4 band in the upper primary and to top it all off our came school came 1st in the music flame award for SA and 3rd In Australia. !!!!
