I would not consider this school. There are a number of serious issues that have taken place in this school. The Headmaster has lost control and has Senior Staff incapable of the roles they preside over.He has no interest in talking to parents about any issues and focuses on pointless issues. It is time the Chair of the school remove him and review his leadership team. This school is not worth the cost.

St Paul's has "revolutionised" education. By underpaying staff, fully supporting bullying on campus and overall focussing on everything wrong with modern education. The principal has mo clue what is going on in senior education, as he is a primary teacher way out of his depth. He is only focussed on his business model and trying to make money and a name for himself. As the least significant of his siblings, he desperately craves the attention he is getting by ruining a great school. The culture of the school is dying, and all of the dedicated staff are fed up and leaving. This school will soon be the nest graduate teacher school in Australia. No one is lasting more than 5 years under PBs joke of a leadership. Do not send your children here.

Bad school. my son would be bullied continuously and all the school did about it was send him to the principle’s office because he was causing trouble apparently.

Don't ever take your child to the following schools:
St Pauls at Bald Hills
Mt. Maria at Petrie
St. Kierans at brighton

I have three children at this school, all are thriving. The school has very clear expectations of behaviour and consequences, and a holistic approach to education that concerns itself with not just raising academics, but well rounded individuals who are prepared for and confident in the real world. Walking around the school, the teachers are happy and children are courteous. What sold us on this school is that they are 'thinkers' not followers when it comes to the Australian Curriculum; looking at how they can improve upon what's prescribed and teach it in a more relevant way for a quickly changing world.

I have 3 children that attended the school since pre-prep.One was Autistic and they took our money all through junior school all the time saying he would be able to transition into high school on his I.E.P. plan but when it came to September of yr6 the head of learning support who has set a program to rid the school of all special needs students said he should go to another school as they do not provide any support for these type of children.Such discrimination is an acceptable practice by this school. The headmaster is more focused on parading on every TV and radio channel than dealing with these practices. If your child is an academic achiever they won't gain anything at this school. For the money they charge I would look elsewhere.

I have read the other reviews and agree with comments in all. I don't believe the school fully justifies the fees they charge and the overall school results don't have us in the top 20 in Brisbane but I'd imagine our fees are!! I have also had the same response to problems between children where its easier to blame the victim, parents of the 'bullies' are not bought into the situation. Programs promised or outcomes are not followed through. I don't agree with the comment on 'sense of community', many events have had to be cancelled due to lack of interest and parents are more concerned on where you live, what you drive and where you work or what you have!! I have had the pleasure to deal with some fantastic and dedicated teachers but we also have teachers that only focus on the 'bright' and 'well heeled'. Overall, I think if you have the opportunity to attend another good school that's less expensive, then I'd take it. I also wouldn't waste my money on Junior School here, if you are going to come than wait till Year 7 or 10.

This school is absolutely amazing. The sense of community and support that exists for students and families is enviable. If you are after holistic development and you want your child to be the best that they can be - this is the school. However be prepared for your child to work hard - from Prep - there is a lot of homework/activities. I have four children - who in total have attended 4 different schools (due to work commitments/moving) - St Paul's is in a different sphere to the other schools.

I have just removed my son from St Pauls following sustained and unacceptable conduct. This conduct was having a serious negative impact on my sons physical, emotional and intellectual wellbeing and St Pauls seems either incapable or unwilling to address it! Yes they fluffed around but in reality nothing was done! Nothing changed! Simply put they blamed the victim as it's the easiest option.
After being removed from St Pauls my son is now excelling!
To top it all off St Pauls then charged an extra terms fees $2450 for failing to give notice!!!
Shameful, however it just shows where St Pauls priorities lie!
The welfare of the children... Irrelevant!
Greed and money money money... Overshadows everything!
My advice following my experience... Send your children elsewhere!!!

The pre-prep class is absolutely wonderful and a brilliant foundation to build upon in future for our child's education. Sadly St Paul's is significantly more expensive that all other surrounding public schools (more than double the price). The principal, Dr. Paul Browning is exceptional. It is however still hard to justify paying $6k more a year, on average than the next expensive private school in the region. Are we getting extra value or are the land maintenance expenses being passed onto parent? The pre-prep year is superb, but I am not sure that the same quality of learning experience can be matched therafer in junior school where there is no aircondioning and the classrooms seem quite ordinary.
